The non-Scandinavian, non-European DNA? A single example of a Saami/Lapplander.

They weren't. They were overwhelming Scandinavian and Northern European.

The one non-European was a Lapplander.

This is like "1 of 4 homeless are women" executive summary.

Also, going back to 2400 BC is going back thousands of years before the peak of the Viking Era (800-1200). Going forward to 1600 is silly. The Vikings weren't raiding England and Netherlands in 1400AD.

So, are these other studies suggesting diversity a version of faked academia attempting to break the 'monolithic race' message, or at worst purposely misleading commentary and editorializing on the data?

I wouldn't be surprised since the reputation of 'academia' is in the shitter.

This is ridiculous. What Vikings launched FROM Venetia or Marseilles? Crazy crap.

Seems like just more of the relentless propaganda designed to undermine European identity.

The only pervasive and systemic racism is racism against white people.

This reads a lot like a standard 'bot headline'. Persuasion based on assertion fallacy tied to a straw man data interpretation (appeal to authority)? Could be, it is standard operating procedure these days.

The assertion that Vikings were not blue eyed or blond haired but brown eyed and brown haired kind of triggered alarms and reeks of DEI infiltration. Also, being a Viking was a subscription affiliation and not associated with ethnicity?

It reminds me of the propaganda infused in computer games with buffed lesbian warriors and 'black Vikings' in Assassin's Creed Valhalla. History rewrote for the umpteenth time. That game was supposedly around 1000 AD.

I suppose it should read "We're changing the perception of who a Viking actually was for our progressive political policies. Fuck any other version and fuck you if you don't conform."

Occasionally, you also see a neanderthal throwback gene expression. We had a person from Europe working for the company in France - saw a video of this guy with all the classic features: heavy eyebrow ridge, sunken eyeballs, massive hair, etc.

Yeah, it is interesting when racial recessive features come forward. I knew a guy in Tri Valley who was kind of Neanderthal looking in the same way. Muscled, heavy bones, unbreakable ligaments, naturally strong looking and never took any kind of anabolic steroids. He said he could do any kind of athletic activity and never get hurt in any serious way. All of his friends and bros in athletics from high school forward had serious injuries and he had none.

Kryptonian DNA.
