I have pondered why there was the DEW/HAARP manufactured catastrophe to Malibu and Pacific Palisades specifically. It seems to be a stupid choice to target an area full of wealthy, highly educated, privileged and resourceful population that could represent a formidable enemy bloc (unlike Lahaina or Paradise who were much less so).
