Haunting video shows homeless ex-con allegedly kill Ukrainian refugee on North Carolina train

Haunting new video revealed the terrifying moment a homeless ex-con allegedly fatally stabbed a 23-year-old Ukrainian refugee in what police said was a random attack on a Charlotte light rail train.

Iryna Zarutska, who fled war-torn Ukraine for a safer life in America, was on the Lynx Blue Line just before 10 p.m. Aug. 22 when she was ambushed, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.

The surveillance footage, released Friday by the Charlotte Area Transit System or CATS, shows Zarutska boarding the train in her pizzeria uniform at 9:46 p.m. and sitting, looking at her phone, unaware of the danger behind her.

It occurs to me that the reason Iryna died is that she was not acutely aware of the danger of being near black men like that guy, because she didn't grow up here, where black people murder whites and Asians every day and everyone knows it, even with the 100% media blackout.

If she had had the stereotype correctly imparted to her, she would not have sat in front of him.

So the corporate media "do-gooders" hiding black crime because it "perpetuates stereotypes" are themselves causing people to die from black violence.

The stereotype is true. Black men, especially rough looking ones, are vastly more likely to kill you than anyone else is. It is a matter of public safety to tell everyone this, and to promote the stereotype.

"If it saves just one life..."

I know the counterargument will be "But many innocent black men will be suspected and avoided, hurting their feelings." True, but they won't be dead from that, and Iryna is dead now, just to protect those men's feelings.

The New York Times has still not published a single thing about the murder of Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska.

I think we should all be able to agree that this is extremely weird.

Millions of people are talking about it but the NYT just refuses to report on it.

The story is important because it underscores a number of major failures when it comes to criminal justice and mental health policy in America.

An extremely violent, severely mentally ill man was allowed to just wander the streets as a homeless person until he murdered an innocent person in an utterly heinous unprovoked attack. A young Ukrainian refugee fleeing war.

How is this not newsworthy?
