Video released, suspect identified after Lululemon heist in Greenville.

Police have released video after a person driving a Home Depot rental truck rammed into a downtown Greenville Lululemon during a heist in August.

Around 3:40 a.m. on Aug. 19, officers with the Greenville Police Department received a 911 call about a burglary at Lululemon on South Main Street.

The caller said that he or she could see two suspects inside the store taking items via security cameras.

Surveillance video revealed that a Home Depot rental truck rammed into the store, allowing access for two suspects to grab merchandise.

Lululemon employees initially reported $4,600 in stolen merchandise.

The rental truck was later recovered in Griffin, Georgia. Officers determined that the truck was rented from a Home Depot in Atlanta near Buckhead on Aug. 18 at 8:23 p.m.

With help from Home Depot, investigators tied the rental to 29-year-old Donte Glenn, who also purchased large plastic bags believed to have been used in the burglary.

Four stolen items from the Greenville store were returned at two Lululemon locations in Atlanta by other individuals on Aug. 19, with Glenn present during the transaction.

Glenn was determined not to be from Greenville, but having ties to Georgia and California. Police said Glenn is wanted in multiple states.

Glenn has been charged with:

Burglary ($5,687 of stolen merchandise)
Conspiracy
Malicious damage ($93,538 total damage to the building)

On Sept. 11, Glenn was arrested during a probation office visit in California with assistance from the U.S. Marshals Service and the California Probation Office.

Officers said despite a nationwide extradition order and a request to hold him without bond, an Alameda County judge released Glenn before his extradition hearing, preventing his return to South Carolina.

Not on topic totally, but who the hell steals $5,600 worth of goods. Go big or go home. You still have to offload or sell that shit. The the cash value is probably something like $3k. But hey, rent a truck in your name, smash up a building for $3K. A mask and baseball bat or rock are way cheaper. Note this is not robbery advice.

If criminals were smart they would be working for NVDA, not smashing storefronts.

When they have Newscum trussed and thrown on horseback, I'll believe it.
