With the 2026 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) finalized by House and Senate negotiators, lawmakers are slamming the brakes on any Pentagon plans to slash U.S. troop numbers in these critical regions.

The illegal hotel across the street from us doesn't seem to be doing much business. They keep two old work trucks parked there to rent to the illegals who want to do local work. The trucks look like they haven't been used in a good while, and the place in often empty of 'tenants' now. Santa Cruz being a sanctuary city, they are licensed to operate as a boarding house no questions asked. However, it looks like business is bad for them nowadays. There are still two pudgy females who do some kind of outcalls in a Nissan SUV. They never take cleaning materials, so I imagine they are cleaning something else.
