I think psychiatric hold is dangerous because leftists are likely to use it as yet another tool of political oppression, like the Soviet Union used to do, but in this case, it sure looks like it would have saved two lives in this case.
New reporting suggests comedian and television host Conan O’Brien intervened to stop party guests at his Los Angeles–area home from calling police on Nick Reiner during a heated confrontation just hours before Reiner’s parents, famed Hollywood director Rob Reiner and Michele Reiner, were found stabbed to death.
According to the Daily Mail, multiple sources say tensions erupted at O’Brien’s Christmas party on Saturday night when Nick Reiner clashed with his father.
“They got in an argument, the father and son,” one source told the outlet.
“It got so bad and loud [that] someone wanted to call the police to report it.”
“But Conan stepped in and said, ‘It’s my house, my party, I’m not calling the police.’ He talked them out of calling the police,” the source added.
A second source backed the account, telling reporters that several attendees believed Nick might need to be placed on a psychiatric hold.
I think psychiatric hold is dangerous because leftists are likely to use it as yet another tool of political oppression, like the Soviet Union used to do, but in this case, it sure looks like it would have saved two lives in this case.

I would allow the possibility that Reiner et wife-o were assassinated (sacrificed) and the brain damaged MKUltra Satanic Ritual Abuse son was fingered as the patsy to be processed as such. He'll probably spend the rest of his life in an asylum for the criminally insane instead of prison, but he had no prior record of violence. Of course, with the Freemason Industrial Complex overseeing the mythology, we'll never know.

I went to RR's Wiki page and the detail badge listed his adopted daughter from Penny Marshall as, He has one daughter listed her name, plus 3 other children. The names of his children was already scrubbed.
Now most all outlets are reporting his son killed them but here's Breitbart's reporting.
Family member questioned. Had that been Don Jr. that slit Donald Trump's throat, Breitbart would have it big bold red letters at the top of the page for month.
