There are no "Markdowns" at Discount Retailers

No, TJ Maxx or Marshall's doesn't often have brand name mark down items from last season unsold by Macy's. When they do, most is snatched up by employees

Most are lower quality items, direct from the brand/manufacturer and made special for 'discount retailers' - worse materials, lower quality stitching, same brand name. Not discounted from overstock.

There are also no "Compare At $300" rules. Retailers can claim anything "was" worth $300, even if it never sold for anything like $300 anywhere, not even the manufacturer's site itself.

And never, ever buy anything like electronics. "Irregular" doesn't just mean a scratch, it means it failed a factory QA, which means missing components or faulty parts, like the built in-camera that failed a quality test.

The employees don't take ALL the good items. You have to be nice to them so they can tell you when they get their shipments.

Where can you find an employee that doesn't have 6 people waiting in line to pay?
Marshalls might be a 75,000 sq ft store run by 6 people ok maybe 10 during the holidays season and Marshalls sells only junk you can't go back and buy it again.
