replacement for a spin down water filter

I know someone with a water well and they have a spin-down filter for their home. You need a spanner wrench and turn counter clockwise to remove the clear filter housing, and its very very hard to remove.

Below is an example of the filter system.

Does anyone know if there is a replacement filter system that is not as hard to replace the filter like it takes a lot of torque to remove the filter housing ? I have had not much success researching this.

Notice the clear filter housing has ridges which the spanner wrench engages in, in order to remove the housing.

I have something that looks almost like this for my irrigation. When you do get it off I think it only needs to be on hand tight.
