Despite the timeline and the circumstances, no formal investigation or public health acknowledgment has been made by authorities in Brazil.

American lawyer Rachel Green, 44, died during a flight to London after quietly falling asleep beside her mother.
Rachel was traveling from Minneapolis to Heathrow to research a book she was writing about Eleanor of Aquitaine. During the seven-and-a-half-hour flight, she rested her head on her mother’s shoulder and fell asleep. Later, when cabin crew tried to wake her, she didn’t respond. Despite attempts to help her on board, Rachel could not be revived. The plane continued to London, where she was pronounced dead after landing.
An inquest later heard that Rachel had an undiagnosed heart condition that she didn’t know about.
