One of the reasons why I am Republican when they are'nt perfect is the propensity of my Democrat school chums to steal and use drugs.

Jail survey: 7 in 10 felons register as Democrats

Well, that was the whole point of the War on Drugs, wasn't it? It was to remove registered Democrats from the voting booth. Think about it, why the fuck shouldn't convicts have the right to vote? What legal justification is there for that? Hell, if they don't have the right to vote, then voting isn't a right, by definition. It's a privilege. A right cannot be taken away.

Let's look at the facts.

1. The prison population increased 700% from 1970 to 2005.

2. Half of the people in prison are there for drug crimes.

3. Drug possession is very selectively enforced with blacks, Hispanics, and generally democrats prosecuted far more than WASP republicans even though both groups use the drugs at the same rate.

Black Americans were nearly four times as likely as whites to be arrested on charges of marijuana possession in 2010, even though the two groups used the drug at similar rates, according to new federal data.

That's right! Four times as many convictions despite the exact same drug usage. When you compensate for that math, the 7 out of 10 become 7 out of 13, or about 50%. Damn, don't you hate it when the facts don't support your conclusion.

And by the way, most crime today is financial (white collar) crime, which isn't prosecuted at all. Just look at all the bankers and financial manipulators who got away with causing the Second Great Depression and massive financial fraud. No one went to jail.

If we actually prosecuted financial crimes, 9 out of 10 felons would be Republicans. And if we legalized drugs, like they should be, it would be more like 95 out of 100 felons are Wall Street Republicans.

There is, however, one group of people who, per capita, are statistically make up way less of the prison population than any other group save those with political connections. This group is, of course, atheists. Yep. If you're going to judge the morality of a group by what percentage of its population is in prison, then atheists win hands down.

The Republican campaign to suppress votes has found new fertile ground. They can claim Democrats as criminals and ban them from voting. It's bad enough to be female or old or poor or a minority. Now all you have to be is a Democrat and BOOM you're a criminal and shouldn't be able to vote.

Many are in prison, because Clinton dismantled the interdiction of drugs into the

USA.. had the prior Reagan/Bush policies continued, far far less drugs would

hit the street and therefore fewer people would have become pushers and users...

AND BINGO, you would not be complaining about the millions in prison today...

But go ahead and thank your chummy boy Billy Bob Clinton on that one...

How the Clinton Administration is Abandoning the War Against Drugs

Before Columbia, Clinton Abandoned U.S. War on Drugs

https://www.mail-archive.com/ctrl@listserv.aol.com/msg49780.html

Here are a few highlights as noted by the FRC:

"President Clinton has overseen the wholesale dismantling of
government agencies that are at least partly responsible for the
successes of the 1980s. The Clinton Administration has:

"Dropped the drug war as one of the National Security Council's
top priorities. It is now number 29 of 29.

"Cut the drug czar's office by 80 percent from 146 to 25
personnel. It was partially restored by Congressional mandate.

"Folded the State Department's Office of International Narcotics
Matters into a potpourri organization that handles issues like
labor, environment and population concerns.

"Cut military anti-drug efforts by signing an executive order
drastically reducing the Pentagon's interdiction efforts. These
cuts included 1,000 military positions devoted to anti-drug
activities, a move Rep. Charles Schumer (D-NY) called "a terrible
mistake."

"Former Drug Enforcement Administration director Robert Bonner
stated, 'I believe that there has been a near total absence of
presidential leadership by President Clinton in the fight to turn
back illegal drug use in this country...It [the Administration]
clearly fails to promote an increased awareness of the dangers of
drug abuse, arguably encourages it...The Clinton Administration's
national drug strategy has failed miserably, and indeed it is a
tragedy. The President must reverse this trend and start leading
our nation's anti-drug efforts.'

"Rep. Charles Rangel (D-NY) said, 'I've been in Congress for
over two decades, and I have never, never, never seen a president
who cares less about this issue.'

"Rep. John Conyers (D-MI) told Lee Brown during the (former)
drug czar's confirmation hearings, 'Either the president is with
you, or he has just given you a chair at the cabinet level...If
it is the latter, you are getting ready to be the biggest fall
guy in the Clinton Administration...We might as well close [the
drug office] down and stop the pretense.'

A Closer Look at 'Bubble Areas' (2Q2002)

www.fhfa.gov/webfiles/1065/Focus2Q02.pdf‎

Real housing prices in San Francisco and San Jose

In the past (especially the late 1980s and early 1990s) we witnessed bubble phenomena in certain areas along the coasts where supply tends to be slow to respond to changes in demand.

This quarter, we take a closer look at some of the metropolitan areas that have exhibited bubbles in the past and examine their current status. A few of the most well recognized bubble areas (historically) are San Jose, San Francisco, Boston, and Honolulu.

Silicon Valley:

Real housing prices in San Francisco and San Jose (Figures 1 and 2) exhibited bubble behavior in the late 1980s and early 1990s1. Housing values rose by around 80 percent in both areas between the start of 1984 (late 1983) and the fourth quarter of 1989. Housing values in San Francisco then proceeded to drop by 37 percent over the next six years. In San Jose, housing values bottomed out in early 1995, also declining by 37 percent....By the fourth quarter of 1990, one year after the 1989 peak, housing in San Francisco and San Jose had already lost around 10 percent (give or take a few percentage points) of its value.

Honolulu:

Honolulu is the only major metropolitan area with significant house price declines in the late 1990s, so it is an interesting case to examine (see Figure 3). Between the second quarter of 1991 and the first quarter of 2001, real housing values in Honolulu dropped by about 30 percent.

Boston:

Boston experienced the largest cycle of the 1980s, with 110 percent real house price growth between third quarter 1982 and second quarter 1988 (see Figure 4). Subsequent declines were about 28 percent over the next 7 years.

This is more fact supporting my argument that there was very little nonwhite immigration into the US before the 1960's.

The USA was not built on diversity. No country has excelled with or survived a racially diverse population.

that would be the Immigration act of 1965 Ted Kennedy pet project, which in turn
he was not to happy with after 10 years...

DECEMBER 11, 2008

NPR asks Ted Kennedy why he was so wrong in 1965 about immigration, Kennedy is evasive

In 1965, during the Senate floor debate over the Immigration Act, Ted Kennedy stated that:

"First, our cities will not be flooded with a million immigrants annually...Secondly, the ethnic mix of this country will not be upset."

These statements have turned out to be totally false, and it should have become apparent to Kennedy that this was the case way back in the mid to late 1970's. It would have been honorable of him to have come to the Senate floor and stated something like: "We goofed big time on this bill, terribly sorry, and here's a new bill to cut back on our immigration levels, and I urge its passage."

Racism- no matter what political allegiances one might have- is NOT acceptable. I am in my 30's but even as a teenager I heard some utter trash coming out of people's mouths in regards to other races.

You paint a wide brush stroke regarding the south.. Robertson was speaking about his own small town in Louisiana... not the South overall or Mobile Alabama or Little Rock Arkansas .... perhaps even in his small town of poor farmers.. in his his town blacks were not mistreated but respected as godly.

and no this is not what the Liberal media wants people to see... to even think there were blacks and whites who worked together free of racism in the South back in the 50-60s was liberal blasphemy..

Frankly I can relate to how the Liberal media twists facts here.. I find many people coming to California, little dinky East Coast educated 30 year olds who have delusions that Hispanics were mistreated in by them Big Bad White Folks for decades... Yet they cant get past all the native Californian (Hispanics) who have done extremely well for over over a century. They completely miss the point here... they been brain washed by the east coast liberal nonsense.

3. Drug possession is very selectively enforced with blacks, Hispanics, and generally democrats prosecuted far more than WASP republicans even though both groups use the drugs at the same rate.

An often repeated lie of the left is that simple drug possession will get you a long prison sentence. This is not the case, even though there are long prison sentences with the only conviction or guilty plea being drug possession or intent to distribute.

When a drug dealer is arrested, there are multiple charges. These charges are usually parole violation, assault and battery, robbery, breaking and entering, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance with
the intent to distribute, felon in possession of a firearm, firearm used in commission of a felony, felonious assault(pointing the weapon), attempted murder(using the weapon) and the list goes on and on.

The drug dealer is then offered a plea deal: Plead guilty to only the drug charges, receive a stiff sentence and all the other charges will be dropped OR go to trial for all of it and once convicted they're pretty much done for life. They always take the plea deal because the evidence is usually overwhelming and they know they were caught red handed.
This means that all the violent charges are simply dropped and forgotten about. Murder is the only charge that can't be brushed under the rug, although many rightful murders are officially classified as manslaughter pleas. The anti white US DOJ then gets to claim that violence is going down because there are no firearm or violent crime convictions even though the violent acts did occur.

Blacks are caught more often for dealing drugs because they do not hide their illegal activities as well as other races. Blacks more often drive in possession of large quantities of drugs in cars with improper equipment, on suspended licenses, expired tags and countless moving violations. Blacks are more flagrant in selling their product while loitering and often under the influence. White, Latino and Asian drug dealers simply do these flagrant acts less.

Everyone knew damned well what was meant by those statements. And sorry, this- just like the myriads of other grossly inappropriate actions that I personally would have hoped we- no matter whether being conservative or liberal- would have at this point be able to universally agree to as being simply wrong- has in fact turned into another embarrassing episode where some people seem to have an automatic knee-jerk reaction to, with some eagerly jumping to the defense of these statements, and not even because of what was said, but more because they are so desperate to make it into another liberal/conservative pissing contest.

There's conservative and liberal politics where people can disagree with one another. People can argue all day long about social programs, spending, the size of government, politicians, Presidents, healthcare, and so on. While sometimes those arguments can become heated, its who we as a nation are. Its fine to debate about how we want to see things run in Washington. In the end compromise is the result.

But racism, or even the hint of it is NOT something that ANYONE, no matter what they think in regards to politics should be arguing. Its not a debate, period. Its simply wrong. There's few things that can have that absolute assertion attached.

I've been extremely disappointed and in some ways embarrassed by some of the reactions to this event. Its simply unbelievable that in this day in age that some statements made in light of this might as well have been made 200 years ago. I would have hoped we as a society would have moved beyond that. Luckily, most people do not think like that. We have made great progress in regards to respecting others for who they are and not what they look like. But this latest event is a reminder that despite that progress, more work needs to be done.

The overall number and percentage of blacks who do commit crimes or contribute nothing positive to the USA far exceeds the white numbers and percentage of negative behavior and attributes.

At rates so high, it brings up the question that Whites could have far happier and more pleasant lives without blacks around.

To have Whites subsidizing the talented tenth of blacks who have an IQ of 100 or greater means you have to subsidize the bottom 90% as well. The ROI simply isn't there.

This chart demonstrates that "adjusting for inflation" does not adjust for inflation. If it did, then the average price of all goods and services as based on what people actually buy would actually make their adjusted prices.

Just because some idiot says his formula adjusts for inflation, does not mean it actually does.

Strategist says

So what if the dollar loses value? Has no relevance to the standard of living.

Actually, it has quite a big impact particularly in the medium term. It's not inflation, but rather the specific mechanism of inflation that is the problem. If we wanted to expand the currency supply to ten fold its level, we could do so fairly and socially justly by simply increasing everyone's bank account, wallet, wages, bills, and debts by a factor of ten. Simply move the decimal place over one spot. Doing so would have zero effect on the economy.

The way in which inflation is actually implemented, however, is vastly different. It transfers purchasing power from savers to banks, from the middle class to the rich elite.

Currency debasement, as it is implemented and was designed to do, taxes the money people save up for a large purchase like
1. A house
2. A business
3. A car
4. College tuition
5. Medical expenses

And in doing so, it vastly diminishes what the saver can buy for his hard earned money. The financial loss of the working man is the banker's gain. He gets to buy a third yacht, while the working man goes from being able to buy a 3,000 sq. ft. house to having to live in a 1,000 sq.ft. house. That's the difference.
