Hillary contributed to THEIR campaigns.
Just $54-Billion Dollar hedgefunds HQ'd in that lovely Blue Collar Neighborhood of Greenwich, CT. And other Hedge Funds, and George Soros.
He paid for the majority of primary campaign, just how much do you want him to pay out of pocket?
Let's start with the wall and go from there.
Marcus, you missed the whole point of the thread (why am I not surprised) so I'll explain it in 2nd grade language so you understand it.... Obama used his political influence to profit and make multi-millions for himself, and no one complained about it.
No, he really didn't. He wrote two books. And they sold well. No influence.
Why?
So I don't have to pay for it? Who cares about paying for the Japanese PM's golfing outing--if he's going to pay for something, let's get real.
I paid for Air Force One & Security.
Thank you! Thank You! Now please sit down!
Would they have sold "well" if he wasn't in politics or became President?
Tatty do you EVER read further up a thread or just jump in at the bottom? You make yourself look like a flaming idiot.
No, Ironman, it is ALWAYS you that looks like the idiot.
Dreams of my Father was written in 1995 and rereleased in 2004. In 2007, the year before he was President, Obama made $4.2MM from book sales. In 2006, he made $1MM in book sales.
Now, if you're arguing that he was well known because he was in politics then I'll agree with that. But that is NOT using influence.
I didn't know you are a Mexican.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA Please stop. That was hilarious when Trump first said it--it's even funnier now.

It should have been obvious that I was responding to the comments I quoted. But yes, you're right, I did not see the point you were trying to make, becasue it's that stupid. Well, actually a combination of stupid and dishonest.
The proceeds of, "Of thee I sing," went to scholarships for the children of fallen U.S soldiers. As for profits from books written before that ? It's not the same. I can't believe that even you think that a single liberal was ever going to complain about "Art of the Deal" profits that occurred as a result of book sales that happened after Trump ran for president or became president.
Nice try dimbulb, but massive FAIL !
You have to admit he is audacious, hopefully Trump can wipe clean his audacious legacy.

President Donald Trump will pay
That's because Trump is turning Camp David into a Trump hotel!
I guess you missed this part:
In the two weeks before he was inaugurated as the 44th president, Obama reworked his book deals. He agreed not to publish another non-fiction book during his time in office, while signing a $500,000 advance for a young adult version of Dreams From My Father.
Nope--I saw that part. How does that imply any influence. In fact, it shows he did NOT use influence--the opposite of what you think.
Then there's this:
Over the next eight years, the Obamas made $10.8 million.
Hey Tatty, since you (and Marcus) have reading comprehension issues, here it is in pictorial form, for the simple minds:
-
Yep--the books he had already written sold well. Again--no influence.
The books increased sales volumes after becoming President don't matter??
Really??
If he or his people were hawking them or tweeting promotions of them, then you might almost have a point. What would you have him do ?
NAC question:
So bond yields have come down since the 80's. But when I look at a chart of NAC its been averaging 14-15. It was there in 2000. How come it doesn't have a continuous slow up curve as yields have a slow down curve?
Seeing all of the money poured into Hillary's campaign then given the results afterwards with pure all out civil disobedience being called for from the media.
It's like their theme song should be "What Lola want's Lola gets".
I bought about half of what I intended on this last correction (NAC). Not sure If I want to buy anymore or wait for a better opportunity.
Even though interest rates can't go up that much, I have a feeling there are lot of "hidden accounting "treasures" in municipal bonds. Just knowing how the city that I live in spends money scares me.
All California Realtor's. Please report to the base of this dam. A present awaits you.
BREAKING NEWS....MICROSOFT AND APPLE ARE MERGING. Ok....fake news....or is it?
IHLlary would already have droned half the heterosexual male population of the USA.
Yuck, scabby IMAM face soaked in camel urine is NOT on the menu!
Is there any good way to dislodge the hatchet without the fucking IMAM flopping all over the place?
Here's a chart of NAC: https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/nac?ltr=1
Exactly - That's my point. How come NAC has been "holding" 14-15 when 10 year yields have been coming down gradually? Overlay that curve with 10 year yield for the same time and you'll see what I mean. I am not making any predictions, just curious. Today is a decent pullback to add if one needs to I think.
in order to avoid the dividend
why would you want to avoid the dividend?
I was making a joke
MISLEADING (fake news) HEADLINE: b>California Oroville Dam expected to fail. Mandatory Evacuations!!!
The DAM is not in danger at all. What is/was in danger is the secondary spillway, which might result in 30ft drop in lake water level, which is also a lot of water. For non-fake news, refer to
https://patrick.net/1302921/2017-02-13-lake-oroville-ca-dam-emergency
He'd been let out on $250,000 unsecured bond the day before his death.
Do the bail bonds people get their money back, or not?
Ironman is SOOOOO HAPPY that FINALLY one video-taped police shooting appears to be justified.
Yes, one less welfare sucking nigger the tax paying Americans will have to take care of.
For the record: Ironman says here that he thinks that the criterion for police to use deadly force against a person should be whether that person, if black, is a welfare recipient. Shocking, but good to know. I therefore deem that Ironman is permanently unqualified to be considered as having any useful opinion on what constitutes proper and ncessary use of deadly force, in general. End of story.
World press belives China is the new Power as US withdraws from the world
End of American imperialism, good!
