Flipping back and forth between the NCAA tourney and the healthcare debate.

Where is Madam Speaker Pelosi? Why is Jesse Jackson Jr. filling the speaker's chair? I don't care where you stand on the bill... shouldn't we be outraged that the speaker of the house, one of the champions of its merits, isn't even present on the verge of what will be, no mater which way it falls, an historic vote?

Just one man's opinion.

I'm sure she still has work to do to make sure all her ducks are in a row before the vote. Somehow I suspect that part of her job is a teeny bit more important that leading floor proceedings right now.

funny ... the Prez sure did take some big steps to the right where baby murder is involved just to gain some votes. It is normal for libs to move right when they want votes and left when they want Soros money.

The White House doctor suggested to President Obama that if he didn't quit smoking he might not be around to see his grandkids file bankrupcy.

People pick funny things to be outraged about. Me I find it outrageous every time I flipped on CNBC to see some Senator speechifying positively FOAMING AT THE MOUTH angry about something. You think YEAH good to see some fire they are telling off their colleagues. Senator Porkulus R of Alabama complaining about other people's pork cluttering up his bill and blocking his effort to get money for a DHS center in his district. Then the camera angle changes and you see they are talking to the camera in otherwise empty chamber. Whatever floats your boat.

She's probably home sleeping while the Reps have to burn the candle at both ends, voting tomorrow after an all nigher. She gets to stroll in fresh, after a team reconstructs her face.

Oh no, the sky is falling!
Kids will be able to stay on their parents policies until they turn 26.
Pre-existing conditions will have to be covered.
The donut hole for senior citizens will be closed.

Imagine if universal healthcare was enacted. Republicans heads would explode!

Oh, yeah, big step to the right to say that the government won't pay for abortions. I hear that they also won't pay for gay marriages!

It was no step at all... The EO did not add or subtract anything, nor can it: an EO does not supersede law.

That was my point -- the federal government already prohibits federal funding for abortion.
