Some observations of Canada from my 10 day house-swap with a Canadian family in Toronto:

Native Canadian people are helpful, but Canadian immigrants don't talk to strangers.
Most things are more expensive than in the US, like $6.50 Canadian for a Hagen Daas ice cream bar in Toronto Island park.
The Lindt chocolates are all forgeries, just crap in elite wrappers. Canadians are unaware of the fraud, since they've never had good chocolate.
Via Rail beats Amtrak by a long shot. Via Rail is clean, on-time, and cheap.
Tap water tastes pretty good.
There are two sales taxes instead of just one: provincial and federal.
Beer and wine in Ontario are sold only by the provincial liquor monopoly, at twice the cost as in the US. BYOB/W
Public pools are free, though run-down.
Immigrants in Toronto are the largest percentage of any city in the world.
The subway system in Toronto is efficient and inexpensive.
Milk comes in a bag rather than in a gallon jug.
Prostitution advertising is brazen and cheap.
There are many Muslim women, some completely covered in Burqas.
Women have more tattoos than in the US.
Marijuana can be smelled in the air on many major Toronto streets.
There is a visible gay population in Toronto.
There are a surprising number of Canadian flags on cars and houses.
The Canadian accent becomes more noticeable the more you hear it.

I bet they put the fire hydrants further into the lot like that to PREVENT drivers from hitting them when snow cover is so heavy they can't tell where the street ends & sidewalk begins.

It's too far inside the lawn for that to be a reason.

That's just a guess.

Or someone thought that was a good idea, at least.

Maybe true about the fire hydrants but I still don't believe it's real. Upon re-watch look at how the water sprays, looks fake. Also the interview at the end sounds like the way too many fake videos I've seen. I'm not sure where you got that evidence but I still don't believe it. However, I could be wrong. Or it could be true and the video is still fake.

It's blurry enough so that it's hard to notice any defects you'd normally see. Both the recording and the interview. I could imagine some low-rez security cam but why is the interview so blurry. Hiding something - the fact that it's AI.

Bullitt County, Kentucky does not have a local television station specifically called "Channel 7."

I'm assuming I got the right Bullitt County. That looks like channel 7 from the SF bay area. Granted, they might have flown out there in the snow for an interview but I doubt that.

Also:

CTV is not broadcast on Channel 7 in Canada. The channel number for CTV varies by city and provider. For example:

In Toronto, CTV is on Channel 9.1 (over-the-air) or Channel 212 on Bell Satellite.
In Vancouver, it's on Channel 32.1 (over-the-air) or Channel 250 on Bell Satellite.
In Calgary, it's on Channel 4.1 (over-the-air) or Channel 243 on Bell Satellite.
There is no standard "Channel 7" for CTV across Canada. Channel assignments depend on the local broadcaster and TV service provider (e.g., Bell, Rogers, Shaw, Telus).

The post above claims that the video was CTV news.

Possibly this:

The viral video you're referring to involves a boy who built a snowman over a fire hydrant in Pennsylvania, not on a tree stump as sometimes misreported. The story, shared on Reddit over a decade ago, describes how the narrator's sister built a snowman close to the road, which was then run over by a neighbor's truck. In revenge, the narrator built a second snowman directly on top of a fire hydrant in their yard. Days later, the same truck returned and crashed into it, severely damaging the vehicle.

This incident took place in a small borough in Pennsylvania, and while the video of the crash isn't widely confirmed, the story has circulated for years as a classic tale of petty revenge.

It's real:

It's Canada, but real or not that kid is in big trouble if the laws are anything like the states. That's a huge no no here in the states, especially ones with snow (obviously). The driver would have never hit the snowman without it being on a hydrant. Doesn't make the driver not at fault, but the kid would get fined probably around $10-20k for a stunt like that. Probably split with the drivers insurance.

Most municipalities with good amounts of snow can and will fine you for not clearing off snow around a hydrant in your utility easement. Again don't know Canada laws, but I'd be chewing the kid out if it was mine. That wasn't cleaver. So your snowman gets knocked down, who gives a shit. Would be real funny their house starts on fire and the department can't reach a hydrant. Good one kid....

Grok analyzed the video.

However, I can't find any news reports on this. Just TikTok and Instagram, etc.

So it could be fake. Just not AI fake.

Nobody said there was. There is one in Manitoba, tho. For Winnipeg. Channel 7.1.

Interesting... I got that from Brave AI so maybe it was wrong. I still think it's an AI video though. Nobody said there was, I was just getting that from the video and the microphone the reporter was holding. That's a SF bay area station unless they use the same circle 7 logo.
403   Maga_Chaos_Monkey   2026 Jan 24, 6:46pm

Well how about that, they DO have/had a circle 7 logo:

Winnipeg's Channel 7.1, operates under the CTV Winnipeg branding. The station uses the CTV Television Network's current logo, which was introduced in 2018 and features a flat, digital-style design with brighter colors and refined letter shapes. While the station historically used variations of the Circle 7 logo (especially during its CKY-TV era), it now aligns with the national CTV branding. The logo is prominently displayed in CTV News Winnipeg newscasts and on-air promotions.

I can't seem to find an example. Looks like ABC channel 7 in the bay area. There is one in Florida that looks different. Not sure why the video would have an old logo when this apparently happened in Nov 2025.

Fakity fake fake fake haha.

Snow Venezuela isn't 'embracing' the CCP, they already have for some years. Remember the Chinese troops on Canadian soil peforming drills during the Biden Actor Autopen Administration? The City of London toilet installed bankster Carney, and CCP 'alliance' have been in the cards all along.

Venezuela was administered by Cuba under auspices of CCP. Trump is breaking their back by despoiling the oil and narcotics financial and energy links (City of London and offshore Carribean laundering banksters again). Same thing will happen to Snow Venezuela, and the Canadians are in for the 'Cuba Experience'. Better start storing those old beater cars in barns and stock up on 'standing in line for bread' boots.
