WSJ is reporting that Exxon is struggling to find reserves and their "net" reserves (discovered oil less extracted oil) declined for the first time.

I actually believe that oil companies like to bring out the peak oil stuff every now and then to drive up the price of oil.

One day these same companies will be warning about 'peak sunlight'.

I work in the oil & gas industry. We are exploring in places that we would never have attempted 20 years ago. Mozambique, Madagascar, Nigeria. Not finding much....
