What are you talking about, there isn't one social agenda in Washington on the table that doesn't stand to make a crap load of Rich bastards a shit load of money.

I don't think that Honest Abe understands what capitalism or communism is...

...or liberal and what a normal person is for that matter.

Sure I do. Capitalism, in short, is where production and distribution is privately owned ( America has never been a purely capitalistic society) , Communism is publicly controlled production and distribution. Its utopia for the masses. You get to consume wtihout producing. You know, from each according to his ability to each according to his need...comrade.

But I bet you don't understand what fiat money is, nor the devastating consequences of using it. I'll even give you a clue. War, empire building and military bases all around the world would cease to exist. Can you connect the dots ?? I'm pulling for you leo !!

Oohhh... you surprise me at least you get the basic one line concept, and even understand that America is not a capitalistic country.

Honest Abe says

Communism is publicly controlled production and distribution.

OK, good... good... and...

Honest Abe says

*sigh* oh yeah, this is more of what I expected, strawmanish propaganda. I can take some comfort that at least you did not mention socialism when trying to describe communism.

Well... you seem to have at least a very basic understanding of capitalism and communism.

So then the only conclusion to make is that your original point (and your failure to try and define them):
Honest Abe says

Liberals view Capitalism the same way normal people view Communism.

Can only lead to the conclusion that you do not understand what a liberal is or what a normal person is.

Why are we talking about communism? There is not a single liberal advocating Communism. They want Socialism. Only uninformed people think that communism and socialisam are the same thing.

Oh...

My...

God...

I have never seen it so succinctly described...

Wheels turning...

Dots Connecting!!!!

Wow! Now I understand why wars, empire building and military bases have not occurred over the vast majority of recorded history! It is because for the majority of recorded history fiat money was not in use!

Ahhh... just kidding Abe...

Me thinks that if these are the examples you use as the "devastating consequences" of fiat money you really don't understand the very real potential pitfalls of using a fiat currency.

I will give you the benefit of the doubt that you understand what fiat money actually is, but clearly you don't understand the underlying issues with using one.

Yeah, that is where I thought Abe, as an uninformed person, would go.

OK leo, I'm starting to like your sense of humor. And I do know other negative consequences of fiat currency. But what do you mean when you say I don't understand the underlying issues with using fiat? What are the underlying issues?
