I know I know, what is there to say about this damning endorsement from one of the bastions of conservativism... What is there to say?...

Sadly modern conservatism has descended into Somali style "freedom". Mitt is their perfect leader-a pirate who plunders and pillages any company he touches and then takes the treasure away.

Remember Nixon-the disgraced Republican. Well he felt the balance of trade was going against us and he put up a 10% import tax on all imports. Nixon would be called a socilaist, pinkie, communist, tree-hugging, Soviet, jihadist by today's republicans.

It is sad, we need two parties with strong ideas right now. Instead we have one whose leaders main concern is abortion, birth control, tax cuts for the extremely wealthy, gutting medicare and social security, gays, Noah and the great flood among other things.

Mitt follows the republican mantra that government doesn't create jobs, but then says he will create jobs if he is elected president. Then he says we need "good paying jobs to grow the economy", while one of his own companies is in the process of training their Chinese replacements to do the same work when he moves the company to China.

Saying that government doesn't create jobs is nonsense. Last time I looked being President was a job. You get paid to be President. School teachers, fire fighters, national park rangers, police officers, and public librarians were all employees working for the government. Those are jobs. So too are all of those in the military as well as the many hundreds of thousands of people working for departments of the government. Those are all jobs.

So for a politician to stand up and state that government doesn't create jobs is outright dumb.

Especially while trying to get a government job. Romney hates it but yet wants it so bad.

This, combined with price controls, caused late 70s stagflation and ushered in supply-side voodoo economics.
