Seems like there is a lot of discussion/discourse on here about living cost, and a lot of it comes from people who list California as their home state.

My question is: With housing prices, taxes, business cost, etc so high, why do you personally choose to stay in California?

The average rent in places like North Beach, San Francisco would buy you a 7,000 sqft McMansion in places like Texas, and you may have left over to get a lease on a nice BMW.

So why do you stay?

- Weather?
- Family?
- Job?
- Unsure?

according to whom?

The Census Bureau, CNN, etc. You know, all those entities in "the reality based community," which you ignore evidently.

Every serial divorcee I've ever met is not only liberal- but far left lunatic liberal, as in : no connection to humanity whatsoever.

Check California conservative Zsa Zsa Gabor's divorce record.

Mershed, my apologies. I suspect you weren't dumped. You just can't get any in the first place.

get what? one of these prostitutes to sleep with me and perform any number of these retarded sex acts chronicled and illustrated in your porno magazines?

fact is you're not really as much of a champ as they want you to believe.

a lower primate has more sense than the average Californian.

My porno mags? Dear boy, it's the age of the internet.

porn is part of the program. Porn dramatically alters your physiology and psychology. Not so long ago, people were really dramatically different. They weren't constantly thinking about sex like a dog in heat. It's totally unnatural. It greatly contributes to immorality.

Have you ever wondered where all this internet porn comes from? where do they get these men and women to do this if no one ever pays them? go and find yourself and answer to that question and you will have a huge piece of the puzzle. Porn is incredibly criminal, it's connected to all the other problems that supposedly dont exist like trafficking children for sex slaves.

Porn is mental POISON. It's nothing to brag about or to be proud of.

Hey Mershed - How do you feel about your Mother?

good question.

she was a good woman. put family first and got my dad to his job. they raised some good kids. if she were here today she would probably agree with me.

You are nuts if you think your mother would really agree with your hatred of women.

Yes. There's an evil PLAN afoot! And those grievous Jezebels are at the root of it. How dare they not have penises!!!!!!

before you continue on your ridicule trip, I suggest you watch the video I linked, which was banned from Discovery Channel.

in this world we live, you are free to do what you will. Rationalizations are meaningless. Have you ever noticed that all these lunatics are being grouped into concentrated geographical areas? I wonder why... I guess we'll find out soon.

Look fella, I don't know what your major malfunction derives from, and I'll give you the benefit of the doubt eventually (human interaction is fraught with highs and lows), but I don't want to go down any rabbit hole you've been down. Dude, I don't wanna know what's it's like to be you. Got it?

at least you're willing to admit that your problem with me is not that im incorrect, but rather you're unwilling to be exposed to the information I'm presenting.

unfortunately, it gets much worse than this. Much of the 'conspiracy theory' is not really a theory per se, but it's actually true.

The state you are in is that of a mind divided, between the desire to know the truth of the world around you, and the desire to be comfortable and conformant to those whom you are surrounded by.

143   MershedPerturders   2013 Aug 8, 2:35pm

to be a bit more topical, the Housing Crisis is not at all accidental.

It's DESIGNED to rob americans of their wealth. It's not over yet. If you are a 'regular' person there's really nothing you can do about it.

Many of you already suspect this, but to ACCEPT it, you must accept that there is a party orchestrating all this. Who is it? Why would they do it? The moment you begin to ask these questions sincerely, all your presumptions begin to fall apart, which is not exactly pleasant and certainly less fun than watching TV.

I don't want to go down any rabbit hole you've been down.

Curiosity got the better of me, so I clicked the video, then watched until Flash crashed. (Uh oh, Adobe must be part of the conspiracy.) It says a Republican was convicted of fraud (I guess one is a start), and that a Catholic charity was a front for child molestation (who would have thought?). The narrator is obsessed with the obscure charity, calling it America's most loved (I'd never heard of it), and made me suspect that someone might in fact have been molested by an especially loathsome monsignor there, and thus fell from "turd" to "turder".

Anyway, according to turder's apparently false bio, he lives in Phoenix, as did those he alleges were responsible for his arrival. So, it would be reasonable to delete his useless comments from the thread: since he isn't a Californian and doesn't stay here, it was not addressed to him anyway.

All of them believe that after they got their 'equal opportunity' that some awesome guy is going to materialize out of thin air and ask for their hand in marriage.

I heard of a poll from a dating website where women rated like 90% of men profiles "below average".

Depending on the site, that might be generous. Dating websites are not a representative sample. And what does it have to do with the thread? Was it at least a California website? Maybe this site?

just go to any drug store today. Virtually HALF the store is cosmetics products. This tells you a lot about where American culture has gone.

Americans in general tend to have a pretty big ego, and need a lot of reassurance.
It's not just women, and not just liberal parts of the country: men like to show off their big cars, walk like cowboys, etc... They are taught from school to have 'confidence' which is often falls pretty close to 'arrogance'. Sex and ego are the 2 goto levers for salesmen in America. It works better than the bible.

Many also have an urge to palm steely phallic symbols, like guns. It reassures them.

Uh oh - I'd better get vaccinated for rabies on my way to the clinic for my next "on demand" abortion. After all, if turdpile said it, it must be true. Good thing abortion remains safe and legal here in California.

(See how I tied that back to the topic of the thread? It took some work, considering the attack on me was totally unrelated - and baseless - but I found a way. Here in California, we have access to vaccines, and even abortions, which might not be the case in some other places.)

have you had an abortion?

(see how I made her attempt to deflect the topic irrelevant?)

women who have had this procedure suffer from an enormous subconscious level of guilt. This is why you will sometimes find some women rabidly defending the liberal platform. There is nothing lower in life than a woman who kills her own child, and thus the fight endlessly to prevent anyone or any group from categorizing them that way. The liberal program offers them an alternative, but in return they must fight for the cause and persuade other woman to also have abortions and live a similar lifestyle. It's unbelievably perverse. Recently the program has extended to also include babies that have been fully born into the world.

They are sick, sick people and they need help. Few of them ever come clean on their past. Rarely do they openly even admit to do doing this, but a just a quick look at their character reveals what type of person they actually are.

I watched the video too. Conspiracy theorists would love it. The rest of us feel there is some truth in it but it's not as widespread as the documentary portrays, which is basically the FBI, CIA and PResident Bush were covering up a child pedo ring. Certainly I believe probably there was sick stuff going on by some, Mr. King and Mr. Spence and others.

But instead of getting all upset by cruelty, stupidity in this world, why don't we apply all morals and logic to something we can control, instead of being irritated by all that is wrong with this world. Let's control ourselves, our morals and try to do good for those we love. We can't control evil people out there. Our lives will be over in a flash. Let's make the best of it while we can.

that wasn't a yes or a no.

I think that everyone else should know if a pro-choice supporter herself has actually done this. I believe the figure is that 50% of women in the US have had an abortion at some point in their life. That is just absolutely disgusting if you ask me.

it is abundantly clear that abortion is not being used for 'accidents' or other sorts of marginal cases such as rapes, but rather as a form of sick birth control. I'm convinced the program is just pure evil. The purpose of it appears to be to corrupt as many women as possible as quickly as possible. See my link above for how they want to extend this 'choice' to living children as well.

Every thread gets off on this conspiracy nonsense! I think people like to follow these conspiracies so intently so it keeps them from really participating and enjoying their own lives or coming to terms with how their lives suck and finding a way to improve their lives.

There are sick perverts, liars and cheaters in the world. Always have been, always will be until God finally chooses to destroy this place (or we get hit by a giant meteor for you atheists)
