No, I am not writing from Nevada.

The event attracts thousands Bay Area residents every where. Better yet, the right kind of people leave for the desert for the week-long festivity. When they are there, they are not here. San Francisco is suddenly charming, and the streets have become civilized.

I wish Burning Man is a year-round thing. There is so much fun there, why should they come back?

You might check the first half of a Julia Roberts movie called "Pretty Woman," but I think the movie ends with her in a relationship with Richard Gere.

Yes, this is why that movie sucked. There are a lot more ppl, who have arrangements, and keep it that way. Today's "Pretty Woman" is not a streetwalker, as in the movie (which would mean that Julia was low end/trashy), but a university student who's being taken cared of, by some executive. This is commonly known as a Sugar Daddy/Sugar Baby setup.

why is it that liberals can't seem to distinguish between movies and documentaries?

Julia Roberts

Not that I'm bragging, but I'd had more beautiful but esp, more feminine French-Canadian esc*rts than Ms Roberts.

And if that movie is any sort of reference/guide, Richard Gere's character was earning a lot more than my current salary, as Gere was a principal at a Private Equity firm.

In other words, I'm rather low level with great recent success but Gere had been banking millions, long before the movie took place.

If so, then the movie is the greatest lie of them all. There are countless beautiful women, around the globe, who would want a multimillionaire to have them as a *kept woman*, traveling around as a consort/courtesan. This movie was purely based around America's puritanical BS instead of the way it real is.

IMHO, Julia Roberts is a '7.x', not an '8' or '9'. She looks *very good* but isn't particularly beautiful like a Sofia Vergara or a Charlize Theron.

With all those writhing, naked, cock ringed, tattooed, drug swilling sybarites locking loins with abandon in the desert, Burning Man becomes Burning Urine.

Ooh,Ooh!

The gyrating, naked, licentious hippie writhing is back on! Burning Man and Burning Bush live again!

With the added humidity, there will be even more sweaty, gratuitous nudity and lubricated groin grinding.

That's lame. I get to grind my groin in an air conditioned 4 star hotel.

I think Julia Roberts looks like a horse, but YMMV. I'm more a Sam Foxx kind of guy.

Well, in her defense, she did have the college *co-ed next door* look, during her early years. Afterwards, she was completely overrated, both in looks and talent.
