I say we put them to work on Federal farms that feeds the poor. They work three years on the farm, then they can get apply for a green card and start that whole process.
Of those less physically inclined we could also have Federal Nanny programs and Miami trial lawyers.
A heard one guy stole a car, pulled off a kidnapping/sexual assualt, smoked some michiJaucan and drank a bottle of Jose Quervo while driving. They only caught him when he tried to buy a bag of ice with his food stamps, and the clerk thought he said call ICE instead. He was of course released on his own recognizance.
Good news for Obamas felonious immigrants:

Before this is over illegal immigrants will have the best healthcare in the country. They wont owe anyone a damn dime for the outstanding care they'll receive.

MY take away from that article is that it's there was not nearly enough detail to even understand what the pros and cons are of the ending of the secure communities program.
Under the new method if an illegal immigrant is convicted of a crime they are deported. Under the previous version, simply being arrested can lead to deportation (of the whole family ? I don't think so). THat sounds like it would have been too easy to abuse.
These things are not easy to analyze with just the little superficial information. The author of the article made that somewhat clear, to any objective reader, by not having a perceptible bias one way or the other.
Uncontrolled immigration is cultural suicide.

My advice is to not bother visiting these days. In Firebaugh or Arvin or Coachella, & al, you will find that you are the vexatious alien.
I know it is unreasonable to expect to secure our border against all the cute little kids from the decaying states to our south, but I kind of wish we didn't have to keep the felons.
Along with his EO granting some lucky illegal immigrants a chance to stay, Obama also ended a program that had deported 283,000 of them after they were arrested for other crimes.
The Secure Communities program allowed local law enforcement to hold arrestees and convicts 48 hours after they were officially bailed, if they were in the county illegally, so federal agents could pick them up and start immigration proceedings.
The administration has replaced it with a program that limits the list of qualifying offenses and only lets Ia Migra intervene AFTER an illegal immigrant is convicted.
Unless, of course, they skip bail.
Last year ICE released more than 36,000 convicted criminal aliens while they were awaiting deportation.
Those illegal immigrants included more than 16,070 convicted of driving while drunk or under the influence of drugs, 5,000 convicted of larceny, 303 kidnappers, 1,160 car thieves, 193 killers and 426 convicted of sexual assault.
ICE said in May that most of the 36,000 were released under restrictions such as GPS monitoring, telephone monitoring or other supervision; some merely had to pay a bond.
In about 8 per cent of cases, courts ordered ICE to release them BECAUSE THEIR HOME COUNTRIES REFUSED TO TAKE THEM BACK.
