The same goes with publishing his tax records. We all know he earned a lot and paid little taxes. So what?

If he wanted to fix the loopholes that 'only he knows about,' then he would publish his taxes, show us the loopholes, and tell us how he was going to fix it. His proposed tax codes would have those fixes in them. But that is obviously not the case. Furthermore, based on the entity that we do know something about - The Trump Foundation - it is clear that he either does not know the tax and charity codes, or he openly flaunts them.

Trump is less of a reformer than Clinton. You can see it in their tax plans. They are telling you what they are going to try to do. Clinton is the establishment, so she takes a small amount of blame and credit for her part in what is bad and good about this country. Trump is the con-artist outsider who takes the blame for his widely publicized financial failures and no credit for the financial successes that he has had, because he is not willing to back up his claims with any proof.

We don't need his taxes to know the loopholes. And "Not fixing loopholes" doesn't make him worse than the establishment that created these loopholes in the first place.
At least he talked of carried interests.

You can bet Hillary will not close any loopholes. Promises or not. The rich people behind her will ensure absolutely nothing is done that would result in them paying any substantial extra amount of taxes.

If we had a doubt about democrats intentions, then why didn't Obama aggressively eliminated loopholes in his first year in office when the deficit was sky high? Why did he sign to prolong Bush's tax cut?

Either way it's at best a draw on this question.
