Problem arises when people would pray for diametrically opposed things. For example, God-fearing Muslims most certainly pray for more floods in USA, etc. Which side should the multiple deities take, and which of the deities would have the upper hand? Would prayer of a priest count more than a prayer of a lay person? This all presents insurmountable logical difficulties.

With respect to Pablos, perhaps he did not accept Quebec aid because it is not needed and it certainly is much easier to ship in aid from neighboring states. Problem here is water - we could accept help in form of pumping Addicks reservoir and Brazos river into St. Lawrence river.
