Facebook now hated by the media because it proved that the "Russian collusion" story is false

Facebook used to be a media darling, so I was wondering how the media could turn on one of their own so quickly and viciously, and attack it every day since. The answer is simple: the head of Facebook advertising, Rob Goldman, provided public proof that the story about Russian collusion via Facebook was a complete fabrication by the press.

Now the media is painfully embarrassed about being caught in their lie, and this makes them angry at Facebook.

President Trump's weekend tweetstorm included a shout-out to Facebook executive Rob Goldman, who in his own tweets had argued three points that Trump found supportive to his claim that there was no collusion between Russia and Trump's presidential campaign.

1. Most of the 3,300 Russia-linked Facebook ads that the social network discovered and disclosed last fall were designed to sow discord in the U.S. political system, not to swing the 2016 presidential election in Trump's favor.

2. Most of the Russian ad spending occurred after Election Day.

3. The media does not cover these points.

What's truly amazing is the inability of the media to admit that the American people elected Trump in a free and fair election. Since their defective candidate lost, they make up fake news and spin in circles looking for someone to blame.

Speaking of Facebook, anybody seen hide nor hair of Sheryl Sandberg? No doubt keeping her distance for her next job at CEO of Google or Apple.

Leftist media is still very angry at Facebook for proving the Russia story was fraudulent. Another attack on Facebook from the NY Times:

As any lawyer will tell you, only a retarded person who wants to be unjustly punished agrees to interviews with Federal Investigators.

This is where the morons chime in with " what are you afraid of if you have nothing to hide".

And now, Facebook has been data mining your Medical Conditions. Turns out they were collaborating with Hospital Groups to collaborate their posts to their Medical Records.

Did you tell anybody about your athlete's foot, complain about your bad back, while writing about your alcohol consumption, etc.?

Remember the "Real Name" campaign to get all Social Media users to use their full name ? That wasn't for abuse, that was for matching data.

Zuckerberg should be nervous, but while Replicants have longer lives these days, but don't have sweat glands.

"It's Possible" Facebook Will Discover More Data Breaches, Sandberg Says.

A day after Facebook admitted that the personal data of up to 87 million users may have been improperly accessed by Cambridge Analytica, COO Sheryl Sandberg admitted during an appearance on the Today Show that it's extremely likely more data breaches will be discovered.

Sandberg also repeated the company line that Facebook "should've checked" - via a data audit - to make sure CA deleted the data which it told Facebook that it had done. The company is now carrying out these audits with many third-party developers who had accessed Facebook's data.

Like Zuckerberg, Sandberg refused to take responsibility for Facebook's handling of the situation - repeatedly insisting the company had been misled.

If anybody believes Facebook was mislead... I have a bridge for sale.

Hopefully somebody will ask about Obama's 2012 Data Usage. It's been leaked that they went much further than Facebook permitted, Facebook found out, and "Forgave" the Obama Campaign. "We're on your side."

If, after learning of all this personal data siphoning by Facebook, if anyone believes it's NOT a NSA or CIA data gathering operation, I have bridge for sale too!

and the craziest part, people voluntarily provided all that data, either by directly entering it in Facebook, or allowing the app to "vacuum" ever piece of data and personal connections on your phone.

It all reminds me of the naive animals on the Galapagos Islands. When the first humans showed up, they were astonished that the animals had no fear of humans at all. They didn't detect the danger.

Then the humans would rip their heads off and eat their bodies.

Takes a while for evolution/selection to kick in. Basically you have to educate the naive, or let them be wiped out and replaced with animals that are not so naive.

Facebook is the predator, and the users are the idiot animals from the Galapagos.
