I was told the bullshit that GDP growth rates below 3% per year is the new normal, too.

Yes of course GDP and TV ratings are completely related! As long as I attach a quirky meme my point will be effectively made!

The TV landscape has been permanently changed by YouTube, Netflix, etc. In the 80's it was a fucking death knell if your show got a 2.4. Nowadays that puts you in the top 10 most watched of the week.

Why does anyone even care about this woman? She's not remotely attractive. Likely an alcoholic. Never thought she was funny. John Goodman carried that show. It was the first sign of wokeism with a woman lead that was not funny even though she leans right. Never liked her or the show. And this was in the years I should have liked it. It was shit. She's irrelevant now. So she jumps on a bunch of podcasts to make money. It's over honey.

She sucked a huge terd throughout the 80's and 90's. I was never a fan either. She was a big Libby, with her hardened feminist views.
The irony that shouldn't escape you, is that she has become more sensible, listenable, likable than anyone or anything on the Left. She might not be "hot" or attractive in the classical sense. But she's a damn sight better than any crummy Lefty talking head. She could replace everyone at the CNN news desk and that channel would become more watchable.

She's a rare instance when a woman got better with age. I never cared for her, but I like what she has become. Why crap on her, we need all the help we can get?
