Why was Michael Cohen investigated? Because the “Steele dossier” had him making secret trips to meet with Russians that never happened, so his business dealings got a thorough scrubbing and, in the process, he fell into the special counsel’s Manafort bin — the bin reserved for squeezing until the juice comes out.

The plot to get President Trump out of office thickens, as Cohen obviously was his own mini-crime syndicate and decided that his betrayals of Trump meant he would be better served turning on his old boss to cut the best deal with prosecutors he could rather than holding out and getting the full Manafort treatment. That was clear the minute he hired attorney Lanny Davis, who doesn’t try cases and did past work for Hillary Clinton.

Cohen had recorded his client, trying to entrap him, sold information about Trump (while acting as his lawyer) to corporations for millions of dollars, and didn’t pay taxes on millions.

The sweetener for the prosecutors, of course, was getting Cohen to plead guilty to campaign finance violations that were not campaign finance violations.

I hope Muellar gets his wish of committing treason for the Democrat party. This country has needed a cleansing for a while. Because that’s what he’s inviting and it will get ugly.

It does make one question Trump's judgement to have a scumbag like this on retainer.

Theres obviously a lot more to this story.

Cohen put in his plea deal as the principal. It was accepted by the prosecutors.

What does that mean, he plead as the principal, and the prosecution accepted that?

Hint: Kamala Harris accused Trump today of something that the plea deal makes impossible.

This is a witchhunt, pure and simple. The American people see this, and will continue to #walkaway as long as this mockery of the justice system continues.

Go after the actual criminals, perhaps Manafort and certainly Cohen qualify...but using them as open doors to setup trump at will is a "Show me the man and I'll show you the crime" type tyranny. All this while ignoring actual crimes from their establishment team. Its gross man. This is a sad, sad time for our US institutions.

I hope Trump pardons all of them, then fires Mueller and every holdover from Obama, then revokes all security clearances for anyone not still in government. It's time to drop the hammer.

He can't be an co-conspirator, since Cohen plea names himself as the prime mover.

So the Dems hope of this opening up the door to something is rubbish.

Of course, the Dems could impeach Trump for anything, since there's no established limit to "High Crimes and Misdemeanors".

The prosecutors required him to also plead guilty to the non-crimes of Fundraising Violations along with his real crimes of Tax Dodging to make a political point.
26   Shaman   2018 Aug 23, 8:39am

Yes the Dems could but holy fuck what a horrible precedent that would set! Get a majority of opposition party in Congress and impeach! Still, they are stupid enough to do it. And then whine about it like Chuck Schumer does about judicial confirmations when HE set the rule that a simple majority was all that was necessary. Of course that was when they wanted to seat the wise Latina and Kagan, some of the most Leftist activist nominees ever chosen.

Plus, Cohen is the attorney in the relationship, and should know the laws, and advise his client accordingly.

Exactly... the prosecution wrote the plea deal and told him to sign it. The prosecution added the non-crime of the non-campaign payment, knowing that there won't be a trial where they could be proven wrong.

How is Mueller committing treason for the Democrats party?

He's actively being used as a pawn of the DNC to get the "result" they wanted in 2016.

He's also going to get his ass kicked hard if he succeeds, and all of his friends.

It can get as ugly as Trump's Rep/Con co-conspirators want to make it, including taking it to the streets.

That's fine.

Leftist vs Conservatives in armed conflict? How long do you think it would last? 2-3 hours?

lol--conservatives would get their asses kicked pretty quickly. Most are over 65 and using a walker.

Entirely too complex of a question for patnetters.

Not for the intelligent ones. That question wasn't formulated for retards and shitbirds.

Keep thinking that. Just don't end up in a mass grave it if sparks off with your fantasies of how "armed conflict" will go for your side. That would be tragic.
35   MisdemeanorRebel   2018 Aug 23, 9:20am

Remember it used to be "Tolerance and Diversity"

Now it's just "Diversity"

Something I just thought of on the John.

What happened to "Tolerance"?

Yes, the party of people who don't know if they are boys or girls, safe spaces, and hate gun ownership is going to win an armed conflict. lol

The only leftist that are any real threat are the jihadis, and they only like jihadi leftist, everyone else is a target (even other Democrats).

Whether or not he signed it proves absolutely nothing. He’s a shoddy horrible completely corrupted witness whose testimony is worthless, especially against the President. Cohen was staring down a long sentence for unrelated crimes... or he could sign this little sheet Mueller handed him. He chose the cowardly way, as is normal for lawyers.

Here's the pre-planned attack as "unindicted co-conspirator" bullshit:

I have cancelled my meeting with Judge Kavanaugh. @realDonaldTrump, who is an unindicted co-conspirator in a criminal matter, does not deserve the courtesy of a meeting with his nominee—purposely selected to protect, as we say in Hawaii, his own okole.

Please feel free to point out where it says in the article that the majority of conservatives (Trump voters) are over 65 and using walkers, like you stated. I already proved your B.S. wrong above with multiple examples.

I'll be waiting......
