Living with 18 immigrants in a crap shack only seems bad at first, but you get used to it.

That would be living with 18 migrants and their families. How do you get used to dozens of toddlers screaming their heads off?
Boise cancelling headphones will be in demand.

The report mentioned

Between 2010 and 2016, 80,000 new jobs were created, but were only issued for 8,000 new homes. That’s one home for every 10 jobs created.

I think that's kinda disingenuous. 2010 was right after we had a job + building boom, and then lost countless jobs due to the crash. So, many of those jobs created after 2010 were replacing jobs that we already had just years prior. And, we had housing to support some fraction of those jobs. So, of course we don't need to build homes to support those "new" jobs, because many of them aren't really new.

Some good ole politically motivated "science".

I'm not saying there isn't a housing shortage in the bay, but this report is very skewed IMO.
