What Really Bothers Me is The Hypocricy

Let me start out by saying I think America is still one of the greatest countries in the world to live in. But it has shit to do with the government. It's the people that make a country great, never the government. Now on to my main point.

It really bothers me the level of hypocrisy I see, on both sides when it comes to elections and government. Tell me Trumpers, how did you react to Obama padding his cabinet with bankers? Continuing the droning missions started under Bush? Constantly bringing up race? Doing nothing to stop the NSA's illegal invasion of our privacy?

Now tell me Bidenites, how have you reacted to Trump doing the same?

But let's get more current. All you Dems, did you know they just found a huge box of ballots in Nevada(100k approx), all for Trump? Does that sound above board to you?

Cons, did you know Biden is suing to stop the vote counting in Arizona, where Trump is fast making up ground?

The last two are BS, made up by me, but what if they weren't...

If you will stoop to any level just to win, why should I ever respect or listen to any of you ever again? You corrupt your morals so easily, and for what? Government never changes, never makes your life better, never gives up power, never stops taking. But because you think you have a choice, you come to the trough like lap-dogs, happy just to get the scraps off masters table.

Pa-thetic.

@NuttBoxer got a link about that?

We need hard proof.

I was appalled that Obama did this, but I knew Clinton would do the same, and I didn't expect Trump to be much different. I've given up on that issue, the bankers run the government.

The major difference is that Trump didn't start a new war, and tried to shut down two. Clinton wouldn't have done that. We would probably be at war with Iran if Clinton were president, given the same set of events that were orchestrated.

I didn't see any difference between Barack Obama and George W. Bush. I see them as essentially equivalent and I consider them the worst presidents in my lifetime, and I vaguely remember Nixon in my infancy.

The good that Trump has done is to expose just how criminal our intelligence agencies are, how our DOJ engages in selective prosecution, how our media just straight up lies to us, and how often politicians just blatantly lie and aren't called out doing it by anybody in our news media. I suspected these were serious problems before, but I could still write them off as anomalies, but now it's clear, our federal government and the media institutions that prop it up, is just a criminal syndicate.

I may have called the Federal government a criminal syndicate in 2014 feeling that was true, but today, I'm certain. There remains no doubt. In 2014, I was called overly cynical, or being bombastic - that NEVER happens today. Trump woke up a lot of Americans that were in denial, they aren't now. That, alone, was worth electing him. At least 25% of of the population sees what I do - federal government is irredeemable.

Don’t worry! Biden will ALSO pad his cabinet with bankers if he gets away with stealing the election!
Personally, I think it’s still a long way from being over. We have recounts to do, legal challenges to settle, and perhaps even it will be so mangled that the House of Representatives will have to choose a POTUS. If it comes to this, Trump should win, as each state only gets two votes, and that makes for a GOP advantage. But we could experience naked fraud even here!
This whole thing is going to make Bush vs. Gore look tame.

Politics is dirty business. Always was, always will be. Turning the other cheek is a not an option (unless suicidal): you'll be steamrolled into pavement in no time.

This has never happened, for any Republican. Ever.

yeah the lies and double standards is what pisses me off constantly, on both sides while at it.

we finally had a good president for 4 years, and elite couldn't stand him so they voted him out and replaced him with establishment guy fast.

The more I've thought about this the less upset I become. This shitshow is actually exactly what we need. Everyone needs to see the system as irrevocably broken. Once we all realize there's no driver who make our busted car move(central government), we can stop focusing on getting a new driver, and start focusing on getting a new car.

RIP centralization.

Isn't that what Trump is trying to do? Less Government, less regulation, drain the swamp?

I’m not a hypocrite, my political views are clear and definable.
1. Taxing me to just waste my money on benefits for losers and illegals is immoral and I oppose it.
2. Allowing illegal foreign workers lowers the standard of living and wages for Americans.
3. Allowing trade cheaters like China to unfairly compete with American business is wrong and hurts American workers.
4. American taxpayers paying to defend Germany while NATO is a deadbeat is wrong.
5. The hoax that CO2 is a “pollutant” should not dictate our energy policy, because it’s false and will cost Americans more money to use an essential resource.
6. My primary interest is myself, then my family, then my friends, then my countrymen; foreigners are at the end of the list.
By interesting coincidence, we have a president who has some views just like mine.
The entire purpose of vote by mail was to fuck up an election. It was never necessary, but Democrats wanted to either win or taint the result.
A pox on them and the media.

Trying as in saying, or trying as in doing? Has Trump written any executive orders? Has he de-funded the defense sector? Is his cabinet not composed of bankers?

He's an interesting guy for sure, but I need more than bread and circus's.

Yes, Trump has used executive order to de-regulate whenever he can. Also, it is important to stay out of wars, and the best way to do this is to not start any and be strong enough no one attacks you (Switzerland, Sweden). Trump has not started any new wars and is drawing us out of the conflicts we are in now, while bolstering defense.
