One dude once said that there are no red or blue states. Just blue urban areas with concentrated population areas with otherwise red rural areas in the state. There are exceptions like really tiny states (Rhode Island, Delaware maybe even Massachusetts & Connecticut).

The controlled demolition of New York continues. Believe it or not, but adding to their many concerns, New Yorkers are now dealing with moped-riding gangs of phone snatchers. I literally meet at least with local reps. Federal and state. I would have been able to meet with Pelosi's opponent. Do these things. Ain't nothing gonna happen bitching on the internet.

This is where you frustrate me Rich. I love Patnet and the dialogue is fun and sometimes nasty, oh well. But if you're not PHYSICALLY doing anything it's a waste. Go to events. Set up a meeting with your leadership statewide or nationally. Go to events you know they're going to be at. I've got one March 2nd where I can talk to 100's of prominent people and government officials and have some beers. They'll be drinking too so all the easier. 10 discussions could change 1 person and that one prominent person can change 100 or 1,000.

Worst of all, after their arrest, the four involved were immediately released, thanks to the state’s ‘progressive’ bail reform laws.

The arrestees were not charged with murder, for some inexplicable reason, except for the obvious possibility that a murder charge would have required bail.

Under New York’s 2019 bail reform laws, charges of mutilation and disposing of murdered corpses are no longer bail eligible. Prosecutors cannot ask for bail, and suspects cannot be remanded to custody.

So.

In 2019 LAPD had 9800+ police officers.

Today the number on paper is 8866. The truth is much worse.

Imagine a station that covers 200,000 people having two….TWO….cops on patrol…in one car.

A city the size of Pomona, Pasadena, San Bernadino, Lancaster….having ONE patrol car serving the entire city.

That’s where LAPD currently stands. What do you think a cop thinks when they know if they make a traffic stop it will take backup 15 minutes to arrive?

Current academy classes are completing at less than half the rate of attrition. And of those, more than half intend to leave in less than 3 years.

This is one of the very largest departments in the nation, and the one that all eyes are on. And it’s failing.
