Even if a good percentage of truckers do this it will drive up the prices to truck things in making localized inflation for products. Most truck drivers probably hate having to drive there in the first place, and the ones that still go will make a killing.

Even a rich guy like Trump will struggle raising that kind of cash. Especially when he should be busy raising cash for his Presidential run this year and helping down ticket Republicans win the House and Senate, so Trump's Administration is not blocked at every turn. Instead, the RNC is basically broke because Trump's pick (McDaniel) was awful and a significant chunk of the Republican party hates our front runner.
