Is there a similar article anywhere about how TikTok might spread anti-white racism?

It's corporate media. Just ignore it. They are less reliable than a coin flip.

It's a video of Trump flip flopping on the issue.

I would have to see all the complete clips of Trump. Our "news" media still claims that Trump expressed support for Neo Nazis in Charleston and they did that with selective editing. They purposely distort information and I'm all too aware of that.

When I'm scrolling through a telegram group, if I see a logo of Fox, CNN, MSNBC, whatever, at the bottom of a video, I automatically and without any hesitation, skip it. Television's JOB is propaganda. They MIGHT be telling the truth, possibly, but any time spent on looking at any of what they report, requires at least a 1/2 hour of research to determine if it's true or not. I don't have a whole lot of confidence in Trump, but I have NONE in Biden. It's a question of which shit sandwhich I am forced to eat. I don't know what Trump will do, but I know what Biden will do and I don't support that. Same was true for Hillary Clinton, Mitt Romney, Barack Obama, John McCain, George W. Bush, John Kerry, and Albert Gore. They are all complete garbage. I've never supported ANY of those. Obama's record was clear before he was elected, when he was a JUNIOR senator in DC, he supported every single spending bill on the Iraq War, it was quite obvious he wasn't serious about ending the pointless wars, and it is war that is destroying this nation. It's the most important issue, it's ruined this country to waste money on war, war that has no purpose.

Remember what our "news" media is - these are the same assholes that REFUSE to admit that the US overthrew Ukraine. It's just a waste of time to pay attention to them. This is a media that ignore that Hunter Biden is OBVIOUSLY not an artist, nor is he a person capable of being on a BOD on Burisma, or Amtrack. He's a strung out crack head.

Wow, literally no one in this thread has read the bill, or has any idea what's going on. It gives them power to ban ALL apps and websites who dissent with the narrative. Passed the House, goodbye patnet... Wait, we'd need a million users, safe for now..
22   richwicks   2024 Mar 14, 6:56am

Does anybody else find it funny that there's all this screaming over TikTok, but nobody is concerned about Grinder, Only Fans, Porn Hub, etc?

This ban has nothing to do with protecting children, ending propaganda, or any of that bullshit. It's not even a non censored website, Glenn Greenwald has been censored there. It's that they don't censor enough, and they want to drive the public to Facebook and Twitter.

It's just an attempt to censor the internet, again. Didn't that work out real fucking well with "the pandemic". Is everybody here that got an injection happy they got it? It's quite clear to me we were never in a life or death situation with a disease, that the injections were absolutely unnecessary, that closure of businesses was pointless and only designed to hurt small business owners, and that the "vaccines" at best were harmless and at worst will either maim you or kill you.

All because of censorship.

Just shows go against isreal and loose in the US government. The only thing that changed between last time this was talk about tictok and now is how pro Palestine tictok was.

I'm glad we are banning it.

The reason people are pro-Israel is because they willingly restrict themselves to censored information. There's a lot of stupid things people support simply because they are brainwashed, and there's an ENORMOUS amount of effort spent on keeping them ignorant and intransigent. Once people realize they are being brainwashed, they move on, that's why television news is in freefall, and why there's such a panic to start censoring sites.

This is why Musk was able to fire something like 80% of Twitter employees, and he didn't stop censorship, he just lightened up a little. MOST of that company was just dedicated to keeping people COMPLETELY oblivious, now it's just mostly.

Engh, it will just fragment the Internet, and I know that's a good thing. YouTube has been politically censored for over 15 years but now it's very censored. All it's done is it created Rumble, Bitchute, Odysee AND TikTok. It has taken 3 decades but FINALLY people are realizing the propaganda box really is just a propaganda box. That took forever. A lot harder to kill that than I ever imagined would be.

If you vote against Tik Tok, when the CCP bat signal finally shines in the sky over America on cue, a shiny black limo will pull up outside of your home and Chinese Tong in shiny suits will be knocking on your door with baseball bats. If that doesn't work, and you haven't painted your roof blue, a Chinese satellite DEW will finish the job.

This is the only site I'm active on. Honestly if I didn't have a smartphone I'd be fine. It's nice when I'm taking a shit I suppose. Otherwise I'm on a desktop and doing other non-internet things. I don't answer phone calls unless it's family. I have 100's of apps and use 3-4 of them. I could live without.

Put this way, I'm about as close to being completely unplugged from anyone I know. Brings me closer to my kids and gets them off their fucking devices. My marriage is great, but when she's around I can't shoot the shit with the kids and get them off their devices. She's in Phoenix now so I get my time with the boys. Been playing basketball daily, weather dependent. Oldest longboarding around town. Nephew playing football at the park.

This is my place to vent. Therapy. Besides bills, documents and legal stuff, I really don't need the internet. I don't watch TV anymore. I do like some YouTube channels I guess, but I'm mainly watching education stuff and not whores and gimmick shit.

Trump wanted to force the sale of TikTok in his first term, but Ryan huffed and puffed. That was when Hamas was acting meek and mild and before the Sino-Iranian recent push with the 3H club (Houthis, Hamas, Hezbollah)

IT'S NOT A BAN.

It only applies to companies controlled by a country on the US List of Foreign Adversaries (ie not Saudi Arabia or the UK or Germany, but China) AND those companies have to be "Covered Companies" AND it expressly identifies ByteDance/TikTok. Both circumstances must exist in the same entity.

NuttBoxer says

Selective Quote. Here is the preceeding section:

(g) Definitions.—In this section:

(1) CONTROLLED BY A FOREIGN ADVERSARY.—The term “controlled by a foreign adversary” means, with respect to a covered company or other entity, that such company or other entity is—

(A) a foreign person that is domiciled in, is headquartered in, has its principal place of business in, or is organized under the laws of a foreign adversary country;

(B) an entity with respect to which a foreign person or combination of foreign persons described in subparagraph (A) directly or indirectly own at least a 20 percent stake; or

(C) a person subject to the direction or control of a foreign person or entity described in subparagraph (A) or (B).

https://www.congress.gov/bill/118th-congress/house-bill/7521/text

Then it specifies who:

(3) FOREIGN ADVERSARY CONTROLLED APPLICATION.—The term “foreign adversary controlled application” means a website, desktop application, mobile application, or augmented or immersive technology application that is operated, directly or indirectly (including through a parent company, subsidiary, or affiliate), by—

(A) any of—

(i) ByteDance, Ltd.;

(ii) TikTok;

(iii) a subsidiary of or a successor to an entity identified in clause (i) or (ii) that is controlled by a foreign adversary
; or

(iv) an entity owned or controlled, directly or indirectly, by an entity identified in clause (i), (ii), or (iii); or

(B) a covered company that—

(i) is controlled by a foreign adversary; and

(ii) that is determined by the President to present a significant threat to the national security of the United States following the issuance of—

(I) a public notice proposing such determination; and

(II) a public report to Congress, submitted not less than 30 days before such determination, describing the specific national security concern involved and containing a classified annex and a description of what assets would need to be divested to execute a qualified divestiture.

https://slaynews.com/news/chinese-communist-party-issues-warning-us-banning-tiktok/

The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has issued a warning to America about efforts to ban its social media platform TikTok in the United States.

On Wednesday, the CCP warned that a ban on TikTok would “come back to bite the United States.”

The message was delivered Wednesday by Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin.

Wang issued the warning as the House passed bipartisan legislation that would force the app’s parent company, Chinese-owned ByteDance, to sell the platform.

If CCP-linked ByteDance refuses, TikTok will face a ban from U.S. app stores and web hosting services.

It's not a CCP asset.

You know why TikTok doesn't have any tranny bullshit in China? Because if they had that, China's government made it clear they would simply be banned. They comply with governments, and they would comply with our government, and HAVE complied with our government. They aren't run by a US intelligence asset though, so compliance isn't good enough, it needs to be absolute subservience.

All of the above comments where posted after I literally put a screenshot of the bill in this thread telling you it's a 1st Amendment censorship bill. Seems to me if they want to ban guns in this country all they would have to do for some of you is start talking about how all the metal used to produce them comes from China.

The people against it like Massie, have a track record of standing for freedom. And in this case even Trump is part of that list(and I'm NOT a Trump supporter).

You people will literally fall for anything if they wrap it in the propaganda that targets you.
44   NuttBoxer   2024 Mar 15, 9:11am

Here's a list of the people against the 1st Amendment Censorship Bill(aka tiktok bill):
Thomas Massie
Edward Snowden
Donald Trump
Rand Paul
Elon Musk
Tucker Carlson
Robert Kennedy Jr
Kim Dotcom
Glen Greenwald

Now I don't always agree with all these people, but they tend to stand for freedom more than people like Joe Biden, who said he will sign the bill.

Yep. Most people don't bother to think.

I can show you the most fucked up things on the internet, there's nothing done to keep kids off from that. This bill is being pushed through not because it's a "foreign adversary", it's because the US government wants to push everybody onto the sites THEY control entirely, and outright.

The problem with TikTok is the US government wants to censor legitimate criticism of Israel but can't risk telling TikTok that's what they want, because they may squeal, Facebook, Google, and Twitter won't.

https://sashastone.substack.com/p/the-proposed-ban-on-tiktok-is-election

By now, the CIA, the FBI, and the Democrats are waking up to the reality of life without their precious blue-checks on Twitter. They can’t control the media narrative to boost Biden and sink Trump as they did in 2020. There’s no COVID. Biden has no choice but to get out there and campaign.

The Biden administration has been using TikTok throughout Biden’s first term. It was their strategy to mobilize young voters. That’s why they invited the transgender influencers to the White House. Remember that?

And why Dylan Mulvaney interviewed with Biden just before the 2022 midterms. Remember that?

Team Biden invested most of its money and energy in TikTok and even set up its headquarters there.

So why a ban? Why now? Because suddenly, they’re shocked SHOCKED that the CCP has so much control over the very same American youth Biden has been courting?

If you believe that, you are a fool.

All politicians are opportunists. The problem for Biden is that he’s a dud on TikTok like he’s a dud on Youtube and X. Maybe there are enough liberal women on Facebook who still fangirl over him, like I used to, but the youth he so desperately needs to win are bored.

Not to mention how the #freepalestine crowd has gone viral on TikTok, and they’re all starting to turn on Biden. In short, it’s been a failed effort at best and a total disaster at worst. ...

By contrast, Trump is surprisingly popular on TikTok. Young minds and neutral parties do not get their news from legacy media anymore and, thus, can now see a completely different version of Trump. It will just drop into their “for you” page, and maybe they will see something that makes them laugh. Imagine how threatening that might be to their carefully constructed narrative of Trump.

There are only two possibilities for the Republicans to go along with a TikTok ban. The first, they’re Luddites who don’t understand the free speech issue involved in silencing hundreds of millions of Americans. Second, they were played by the Democrats.

Banning TikTok, they say, isn’t censorship, but how can it not be? Here are Tucker Carlson and Rand Paul wondering the same thing...

That is a lack of control over the message the Democrats cannot afford. They must find a way to shape opinion, even if - especially if - it means censorship. Just like China! ...

They’ve already shown us that they will stop at nothing to take down Trump. We’ve watched them destroy themselves in the process. But this ban is exactly what Amazon did to Parler - a popular competitor to Twitter - when they dropped them from their servers, and all Big Tech giants refused to host them. That was for the protection of United States citizens too. But it was wrong. Have we all forgotten that?

What is this but exactly that same abuse of power, taking away the voices of the people, their free speech, and their main method of communicating with each other, and putting the power back into the hands of a lying, corrupt legacy press? ...

It’s probably not easy for people on the Left to watch their empire collapse, but collapse it will. The reason for that is the rising counterculture revolution.

Speech, like information, like truth, wants to be free. When you close off too much reality, too much honesty, too much critical thinking, and push a narrative on the public that no longer resonates, it’s all over but the shouting.

Milan Kundera says it best in the Book of Laughter and Forgetting:

And so it goes with the empire. They gripped too tight. They held on too long and now, there is no way to save them from their ultimate fate.

TikTok is in their crosshairs for one reason and one reason only: it is making Trump too popular. And for that, it must go.

NO.

It's not Putin, and it's not Bashi al-Assad, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Osama bin Laden, Muammar Qaddafi either. It's our government that is pushing this 2SLGBTQ+ nonsense and they aren't banning TikTok over that. They don't care about that. It's pushed on television, YouTube and Facebook, no complaints about that.

The problem is, that the US security state does't 100% control TikToc and that's not acceptable. They 100% control Facebook, and Google, and probably Twitter. We will see, if they don't 100% control Twitter, they will be the next target.

Facebook and Google don't have shit on me and neither does the government. Their algorithms cannot even compute my crazy brain. I'm surprised you guys don't do searches to throw it off. I don't even want to mention some of the extreme edgy searches I do on google. Anyone that has my full data would give up. Like what the fuck is up with this guy. I do NOTHING illegal. They'd be confused.

I try to do an insane search everyday on google. Stupid shit like "Is my dog a pedophile if it licks my kid" Fuck with their algorithms, it's fun. And I secretly think some of the employees see it and laugh. Instead of avoid it, fuck with their data. If 20% of people fucked with them they'd lose their ad revenue.

As long as you don't actively search and store anything you search, it screws them up bigly. I'd love to see a Congressional hearing on google horse fucking searches. They're so stupid they'd look into it. "Oh the horses..." It's the protest in the middle of the highway. We need to get more people on board.
