If we hyped up that Pelosi and Reid support it, I'm 100% positive that the foxbots would oppose it.
...maybe that's actually their strategy?

Not only do Pelosi & Reid support it, so does the Chosen One. With all of Obama's bluster about water boarding being torture,etc and without any fanfare or media coverage, Obama has kept in place the clandestine practice known as rendition. Rendering suspected terrorists to other countries in order to torture them continues without so much as a tsk tsk from our high minded liberal friends. The media has turned a blind eye as well. Keep in mind these are abductions orchestrated by our government against SUSPECTS that haven’t been found guilty of anything in a court of law, etc. If this doesn’t cause you concern about the abuse of power by government, nothing will.

Calling all Bush haters, anti-establishment, pro-liberty, pro-privacy types. The "patriot" is set to expire this year. Pelosi, Reid and the other privacy haters in congress are seeking to sneak through a renewal of this tragic piece of legislation under the radar. They plan to vote in about a month. Now is the time to act.
Contact your representatives in Congress. Write a letter to the editor. Damn the torpedos and full speed ahead. Let them know that in America, we don't fall for a lie twice. The patriot act is anything but. It is time to let it go the way of the Bush administration, away, far, far away. Don't let his legacy live any longer.
If we act now we can restore rights to privacy and parts of the Bill of Rights that should never have been threatened by a Congress sworn to uphold the Constitution.
Shout it from the rooftops.
