You should probably figure out what shape it is in. If it has termites it can potentially collapse if it's in a really bad situation.
I just received the complete termite report. It indicate Drywood Termites and Fungus/Dryrot. The majority of the spots are around both sides of the garage and around the deck at the backyard and Gazebo. Recommendations is to replace the wall of the garage and the deck. No interior infestation is found. The total cost of treatment and replacement totaled at $3600. It sounds pretty bad to me but I don't have experience at all. Is this really bad? First time house buyer.

I'm planning to put a short sale offer on a house that needs termite treatment. Should I stay away from the house that need termite treatment? The asking price of this house is attractive though.
