Denmark is the last major economy to peg its currency - the krone - to the euro, and has conducted a fixed exchange rate policy since the 1930s.

I dispute that statement that Denmark is a major economy.

More major than San Marino. It's all relative, you see.

inneresting.

"Denmark recorded a trade surplus of 4306.30 DKK Million in November of 2014. Balance of Trade in Denmark averaged 1471.15 DKK Million from 1960 until 2014, reaching an all time high of 10812.80 DKK Million in October of 2013 and a record low of -2969 DKK Million in December of 1985. Balance of Trade in Denmark is reported by the Statistics Denmark."

Nice trade surplus you got there!

Denmark is basically a city-state, which makes it an interesting economy to model.

I guess Sweden and Norway are city-states too, come to think of it.

BB reported: "Denmark recorded a trade surplus of 4306.30 DKK Million in November of 2014.
And half of that surplus is attributable to Lego bricks: The closely held company’s sales climbed to 23.4 billion Danish kroner.
Okay, I'm probably misreading the tea leaves, but you've got admit: Every Thing Is Awesome.
