Science Friday: Bangladesh bloggers getting murdered
This madness has become our problem. How do you deal with a certain percent of 1.2 billion people who are inspired by Islam to kill, and the rest who do nothing to stop them?
DieBankOfAmericaPhukkingDie says
Just for the record:
THE PROPHET MOHAMMED SUCKS MY DICK!
That's great, but does he swallow?
People fleeing persecution or well founded fear of persecution (e.g. atheist bloggers whose names have been published on a "hit list" for blasphemy) are the kind of people who should be granted refuge or asylum, not the Muslim invaders who murder them and try to spread that violence into Europe.
Atheist dying to make a point.
Protestant Merkel's "Christian Democrats" are the principal drivers of importing angry Muslims into Europe, with encouragement from the Pope, but yes we do also see atheists agreeing with it. They're all like turkeys campaigning for Thanksgiving.
I blame American Jesus Freaks. This is clearly a reaction to Trump's standing in the primaries.
A statement from the U.S. Embassy identified the man as Xulhaz Mannan, calling him a "dear friend."
"We abhor this senseless act of violence and urge the Government of Bangladesh in the strongest terms to apprehend the criminals behind these murders," Marcia Stephens Bloom Bernicat, the U.S. ambassador to Bangladesh, said in the statement."
Islam strikes again.
PatNet being a free speech zone, may I please say, I do not want these murders happening here? I lose patience with people who whine about "Islamophobia." It is not a phobia if they are actually trying to kill you. I do not agree with regressive identitarian "liberals" who say we must invade Muslim countries and import people who believe they are omnipotently commanded personally to kill us all. It is like looking at a municipal swimming pool and saying "sharks are endangered and probably hungry, we need to drive some sharks into this pool, it will be ok, everyone can just get along." No, it is not OK. Life is not a Disney movie. Some people believe in a hateful religion that commands them to kill everybody who doesn't agree with it, and to spread that religion everywhere, and I do not want them spreading it here.
I don't believe you can have a phobia over an ideology, philosophy, or religion, since those are A) Voluntary Beliefs B) Not Innate Characteristics like Melatonin Levels
Nobody says Flatearthaphobia or Creationismaphobia.
Authorities said three men riding on a motorcycle stabbed and shot Mahmuda Akter Sunday morning as she was dropping off her son at a school bus stop in the port city of Chittagong.
Akter is the wife of Babul Akter, who was recently promoted to superintendent of police in Dhaka, the capital, after serving as the lead investigator into a wave of brutal killings that have targeted secular and progressive bloggers, writers and activists."
The name of the now deceased wife and mother was Mahbuba Khanam Mitu. I wondered whether to post a 6,000th comment, but I want to express sincere condolences to her children and widower. Voters, please consider the evidence before assuming that religions are all the same, or that Islam is just like the one(s) you feel more familiar with. Different people have different beliefs, which motivate different opinions and actions. Some opinions and actions are, sadly, worse than others.

All religions are not equal. Anyone who thinks so is delusional or just plain stupid.
The death toll has now risen past 40."
40, pah. More people die from car accidents. It's Islamophobia to point these things out.
Police said he was hacked on the neck several times with machetes."
Muslim / Muslim countries.
countries where muslims are minority, They want more rights, even better than your general population. Then they want to make it their own land, don't let them in.
Countries where muslims are majority, Kill rest of other religion, no freedom. Pakistan, indonesia, bangladesh, nigiria.... list goes on. All these countries were once not muslim. they converted by force with sward. These muslims are so brainwashed, they don't remember that their most of their ancestors and parents were not muslims.
A policeman has reportedly been killed and more wounded in an exchange of gunfire as officers surrounded the Holey Artisan restaurant, which is popular with British diplomats, in the upscale Gulshan area of Dhaka.
Police said "several foreigners" were among the hostages as reports suggest at least 60 people were inside the restaurant, which is just streets away from the British High Commission."

They hate their ancestors, but love Mohammad, a child rapist. Their ancestors are probably turning in their graves as we speak.
Update: At least four killed in Dhaka, dozens held hostage, ISIL/Daesh claims responsibility.
Happy Bombadan. Fortunately for us Kuffars, there are only 4 days left
"Up to nine police constables have been injured in the attack," Inu told Indian broadcaster CNN-News 18."
"A Bangladeshi blogger known for his atheist views has been hacked to death by a gang armed with machetes in the capital Dhaka, police say.
Niloy Neel was attacked at his home in the city's Goran area.
He is the fourth secularist blogger to have been killed this year by suspected Islamist militants in Bangladesh.
Imran H Sarkar, head of the Bangladesh Blogger and Activist Network, told the BBC that Mr Neel had been an anti-extremist voice of reason. "He was the voice against fundamentalism and extremism and was even a voice for minority rights - especially women's rights and the rights of indigenous people," he said.
BBC World Service South Asia editor Charles Haviland says that, like previous victims, Mr Neel was not only secular but atheist and, like two of the others, he was from a Hindu, not a Muslim, background.
***
All four men killed were on a list of 84 "atheist bloggers" drawn up by Islamic groups in 2013 and widely circulated. It was originally submitted to the government with the aim of having the bloggers arrested and tried for blasphemy.

Bangladesh is officially secular but critics say the government is indifferent to attacks on bloggers by Islamist militants.
Two people have been arrested, but no-one charged, in connection with this year's killings, our correspondent adds."
