I didn't realize the trend was 16 yrs old.
It appears to be over 50 years old on the graph.
I have to wonder how my 22-year-old stepson manages NOT to live at home. He must be a super genius. He even has a job, and we all know that borders on the impossible dream. My youngest brother who is a Millennial, also has a job. He even has a wife and three kids. AND he maintains his own residence. I must be really lucky to be surrounded by such borderline-superhero levels of competence.

Yeah, tell me about these statistics. They say most americans speak only one language. I have to wonder how my young children (born and raised in the US) are fluent in three. They must be super geniuses.

Let me guess: you and your wife are immigrants from 2 different - non- English speaking - countries?
I was just making fun of turtle, disputing statistics with anectotal evidence.

I thought there was only one language, American.
Without job and income security, the OECD report authors warn, young adults could postpone reaching traditional markers of adulthood. Poor economic prospects could begin to affect health, fertility, crime and even "social cohesion."
