Rumor has it that William Kristol, Richard Perle, Mittens Romney, Stephen Hadley, Grover Norquist, The Bush Family, et al., are joining Michael Moore, Robert DeNiro, Madonna, Wanda Sykes, Bill Maher, et al., in DEMANDING that Trump "Step Aside!"

After delivering perhaps the most prescient assessment of any election in history, calling PA, OH, MI and WI for Trump weeks before election day, Michael Moore seems to be losing it a little bit. Back on October 24th, Moore predicted, in the following video, that Trump would win the so-called "Brexit States" by appealing to unemployed manufacturing workers in the Midwest who have suffered as their auto jobs have slowly been migrated to Mexico. Within the video Moore infamously predicted that Trump's election would be the "biggest fuck you ever recorded in human history."

While Moore predicted the Trump victory, he has said numerous times since election day that he had hoped he was wrong and did everything within his power to defeat Trump. Since election day, Moore's dissatisfaction with the results has apparently prompted him to slowly lose his mind. His somewhat odd behavior started earlier this week when he visited Trump Tower and left a note for the president-elect to resign.

Like other democrats who have refused to accept the outcome of the election, Moore said he's "opposed to this man who did not win the popular vote taking office, and we need to figure out what we can do, legally, nonviolently, to make sure this doesn't happen." While we certainly respect his passion, absent a revolution, we're not sure exactly what legal basis Moore is referencing for removing a democratically elected president.

Then, just this morning, Moore went on CNN to tell Jake Tapper that Democrats should consider running Oprah Winfrey or Tom Hanks for President in 2020. As much as Moore seemed to "get it" before the election, comments like these seem to indicate a lack of understanding of why Trump was actually elected. Trump's victory was in no way linked to his celebrity status, but rather, was a complete and utter rebuke by the American electorate of the corrupt political establishment in Washington.

It is amazing how quickly Moore's rational assessment of the election on October 24th has completely devolved into madness as he is blatantly and overtly calling for mass violence. Moore, like other democrats, would be well served to take a step back and consider the fact that the outcome of this election is the direct result of a corrupt DNC rigging the system to nominate a flawed candidate with numerous outstanding criminal investigations....the blame game should end there.
