Let's see what he and his team do to better the bulk of Americans' lives, if anything, and his very many and deep personal flaws will be viewed in a far less harsh light.

It's time for him to get to work to fulfill his promises he made

I'm not feeling confident in the man, and feel that he really is crude with poor form, but if he really does make Americans' lives better, and engages in selfless public service that is goal-oriented towards that end, and kicks the asses and keeps in line the scumbag banksters he's already put in his inner circle (not a good sign thus far), I'll be the 1st to admit his actions speak more to his integrity than his personality flaws, and I'll respect the man.

Hopefully, people such as Ironman, who seem to be hardcore Trump supporters, will agree with me that results matter, and there are some initial troubling signs in the form of the Mnuchins (Goldman bankster and subprime banking vulture), Cohns (Goldman President scumbag bankster), Pruits (who has active suits against the EPA and wanted HIGHER MERCURY, CO2, ARSENIC, etc. levels in air and water and ground soil in Oklahoma, and wanted to ELIMINATE THE EPA, which is agency he now heads) and DeVoss's (woman seems to be bona-fide moron based on testimony - but there ARE MAJOR PROBLEMS with public schools in her defense and in giving her some leash and deference).

IN OTHER WORDS -Trump better drain the scumminess out of many in his own Cabinet, and best the notion that are to do anything & everything to help average Americans, even if it fucks up the banksters and corporations' world.

You sound triggered and are being asinine.

Nowhere did freespeech claim Trump should be expected to accomplish his pledges within 12 hours, let alone 1 year for that fucking matter.

Hell, I'm FULLY prepared to give him every hour of his first 4 YEAR TERM, AND THEN HELP TO GET HIM RE-ELECTED IF HE DOES WHAT HE PROMISED.

Get a hold of your faculties.

Trump has personal flaws that really do bug me, and I disagree with certain policies of his such as his push back to fossil fuels. With the bad, however, I'm hoping for some good. Our government needs DRASTIC positive change, and there's no way Hillary would ever do that. Blood rushes to my groinal region when I hear that whole federal departments are going to get cut, and I love that he's calling BS on these federal contracts.

Yes, that's exactly how I feel.

I don't really care about Trump the person as much as I care about how he might help the country. He seems to have a chance to do that, simply because he's a true outsider in DC.

Actually, I do enjoy his personal flaws to the degree that they trigger potentially fatal apoplexy in politically correct zombies who cannot stand any challenge to their flawed reasoning.

HE IS CLOSING ON YOU TELLING YOU EXACTLY WHAT HE KNOWS YOU ARE HOPING TO HEAR.

He didn't tell me what I was hoping to hear. He's just setting up one of his cons.

He describes America as far worse than it is, so that a few years from now when it's barely better after massive deficit spending, he can claim he's undid all those decades of decline. You think his lies we heard in the campaign and today ore huge, just wait until next cylce, if he isn't impeached that is.

Instead of summoning the best in America’s ideals, Mr. Trump offered a fantastical version of America losing its promise, military dominance and middle-class wealth to “the ravages of other countries making our products, stealing our companies and destroying our jobs.”

With sweeping exaggeration, Mr. Trump spoke of “carnage” in the inner cities. He deplored all of this decline as a betrayal of America, implicitly trashing the four former presidents who sat listening behind him at the inaugural ceremony. Those presidents, Democratic and Republican, must have put Mexico first, or perhaps Sweden, or China. Offering himself as a kind of savior, the leader of a “historic movement, the likes of which the world has never seen before,” Mr. Trump proclaimed he would have a different priority: “America First! America First!”

Please consider the word undid above to be "undone" in the second line.

When I try try to change it I get an error message that I'm over the 2000 word limit. Interesting, since I'm just trying to change one word.

Interesting. It's nice to be hopeful, but if you're not deeply frightened by Trump being President, I believe that you suffer from far more deeply flawed reasoning than someone who says happy holidays, instead of Merry Christmas, or someone who who has a different (but extremely well reasoned) opinion than you about how to fight terrorism.

Another reason for Trump describing America in such ridiculously negative terms other than the con I described above, or appealing to the racist ingrates that think Obama ruined America by being a black president, is that he is aware of HOW NEGATIVELY HE IS PERCEIVED. The optics are far worse for him than any incoming President ( e.g. his favorability ratings) in the past century. He knows that uncertainty or psychology can have a huge impact on markets and the economy. So he's setting up this imaginary baseline from which he will constantly describe all the ways he is improving things, while what he may mostly be doing is undoing progress of the past and protecting the interests of plutocrats and favored corporations.

As usual with him it's marketing or salesmanship. Not that that's anything new with politicians, but he takes it to such a grotesque and unprecedentedly dishonest level.

The biggest problem so far has been that he is still a divider. He has alienated more than half the country.

Yep, he needs to work on that. Now on to slashing federal departments.

He's been talking Shit for well over 35 years saying what he would do, what somebody ought to do, and how he would fix things if he were in charge around here.

Let's see how he does.

There's a part of Trump that is thin-skinned, but another part that is bulletproof. You could hold protests all day calling him the nazi devil incarnate and he won't lose a minute of sleep. Make fun of his voice or his hair and he'll be up all night fuming.

Ironically, the Israelis are thrilled to be rid of hardline Palestinian statists John Kerry and Barack Obama. As some of you are pointing out, the Palestinians don't like the two-state option either (they want Israel gone entirely). NBC and CNN talking heads screaming "antisemite" at Trump for 24 straight hours likely has the Israelis confused.

As another example, If Trump had pulled the plug on Cuban refugee admittance the way Obama did this week, the left would be screaming that it was a racist act. The truth is irrelevant.

Ad hominem arguments are the last resort of thoughtless people who, instead of arguing their points with class and precision, choose to attack the character of their opponent.

Look for repeal of Dodd-Frank and deregulation that benefits investment banking and hurts people.

Look for repeal of repeal of healthcare that benefits insurance and big pharma and hurts people AGAIN.

All in the first days of the administration!

BOOM!

Are you implying that things which help insurance and big pharma by extension, help people?
