They need to innovate. I can't tell a difference between the last 5 models.

I don't us an Iphone, but I know people who do, and one reason to upgrade if yours is getting old is that some of the newer ones are bigger and have more built in memory. Plus the newer ones have better cameras.

If you read everything in this graphic, that's pretty much Trump on the left and Hillary on the right.

then you are one of "those" people...

I own pretty much everything apple makes...use family sharing calendars, reminders...iphone, watch, mac mini's, iMacs, desktop etc.., calendar, reminders, alarms, home automation - It's there all day and its made so many things so much easier. Every now and then a hick up, fine. Easy to figure out and fix. Disclaimer, I do know my way around Macs...maybe different for the non tech types out there.

I have not owned every iPhone - but from 1 to 3 to 5 to 6...skipping the 7 and will most likely go 8. You can't tell a difference between the phones? Hm...I don't get it. That's like saying...there is no difference between a 1980 BMW and a 2016 BMW. Both just cars. One has a better stereo...so what? I can't tell the difference. Both use gasoline. One is slightly faster...whats the big deal?

You have to be part of the cool kids club to get it I think. The apple products get better the more stuff you have. It's fantastic to be on the phone and text somebody or look up a website and then get to the computer and continue to text from the computer and browse the exact website without having to search it again. This "handoff" is very practical for somebody that does that a lot. I happen to be one of those. It's from one machine to another - from one device to another.

I have my moments of curse also but overall I am extremely pleased with their products.

Yes, because we all know Apple stock for the year before Trump was elected was so stellar, right??

Not sure what you mean - here is Apple under Obama...

But ok - lets give trump the credit....9 days in office...sure - if it makes you feel better

Trader Tries To Short Apple Earnings, Pukes Up Life Savings

On Tuesday, a day trader allegedly took gambling to a whole new level. And, if his act was in earnest, he lost big.

According to MarketWatch, Canadian investor F.S. Comeau bet his last $249,000 against Apple Inc.in an attempt to reclaim $2.5 million lost in poor investments. At the time of the trade, shares were valued around $122, and MarketWatch reported that an increase of just $6 would deplete Comeau’s savings.

Apple shares shot up Tuesday after-hours when the tech giant blew out its Q1 earnings estimates... and Comeau lost significantly.

Benzinga reported that analysts average a Buy rating on Apple shares with a price target of $133.40. Analysts also expect reports of a 2-percent revenue increase and growth in iPhone sales figures.

But Comeau's self-described “YOLO” investment was a calculated one. Comeau took to the WallStreetBets strand on Reddit to explain his prediction of Apple’s big earnings loss.

He predicted a total earnings drop of 15 to 25 percent.

I lost $100,000 in one night to Brexit. Another $50,000 betting on Hillary.

You all can go thank Trump:

LOL!! - It has nothing to do with trump but ok...

The naysayers of apple can choke on it...

i'd say a big part of the optimism is Trumps tax holiday. but i'd agree that it has mostly been due to introductions and updates of products.

80415   Booger   2017 Feb 1, 6:53pm

So basically, California wants to secede from the Union, because they want to keep their cheap slave labour...sound familiar?

Yep. Never not try to weaken a rival.

California would never leave, because all the MIC employees would be jobless. California can't maintain 9 CVBGs, 1000s of F-35 Lead Sleds, all by itself. Or all those Space Tech Companies that receive heavy Federal and State subsidies and breaks. And then what would Lockheed do?

In western Europe, hate speech and trollish statements such as holocaust denial can be punished very severely compared to what happens in U.S. Do you believe europeans are misguided or justified in their approach considering the history of nationalist movements over there?

It only drives it underground. If it's out in the open and mocked openly, it soon goes away.

Notice Truthers, Moon landing hoaxers, Militant Vegetarians, etc. are still mostly laughed at.

Meanwhile, Authoritarians protest a Modern Liberal:

The fanboy posts a chart from Obama, which has nothing to do with what I posted.

Boy, you Apple Fanboys really have issues and have to resort to straw men to support your delusional purchases of Apple products.

Please explain what's delusional about buying a laptop, an iPhone, an iPad...etc ?
The one thats delusional here is you. You are so anti everything that has some sort of "liberal" attached to it that you are blind. A good product is a good product. Doesn't matter if you personally approve it or not.

I get it - you are angry because you're on windows. I get it ...really. :)

Seems like the exact same thing I've seen for the past 20 year, a bunch of impotent, directionless youths playing crappy-ass music and standing around on the street because they have way too much free time and no idea how to actually accomplishing anything. Protests are nothing more than an event to pick up slutty chicks by pretending to care about their two-dimensional cause.

The protesters here probably didn't even bother to vote. Voting is anonymous, and thus boring. Protests are sexy. They are great for virtue signalling.

Free time indeed. Not to be racist, but these are mostly rich white boys and girls getting their rocks off on mommy and daddy's dime.

THIS is the face of liberal white privilege. I can guarantee you that if a group of black or hispanic guys tried to pull this very same stunt in the neighborhoods these protesters grew up in, they'd be locked up with the quickness, looking at 5 to 10, or they'd be Swiss cheese.

The unifying electricity of raw hate is what these leftist protests have in common with Islam. So it makes sense in a bizarre way.

If CA left, the Fed money and most of the "makers" (i.e., midde/upper class and above) would leave the state and their precious socialist society would crumble, like it is now.

this is true. the remaining middle class would move out and the wheels would fall off. the state receives a large amount of federal welfare money, also.

actually, i'm enjoying the left ripping themselves to pieces these days. i say go ahead an secede, fail to pay out the plebes, descend into anarchy, and then have to be rescued. possibly the only way to get california back to normal.

If CA left the union and fully implemented their Left political agenda, that GDP would fall to the floor.
