If Hollywood did this, there would have been some absurd racial or female replacement of characters or bs like that
Next, SJW's retconning History by making NASA of the 1960s entirely Black and LatinX Trans Engineers,.
I saw it with my 10 year old boy yesterday. We both thought it was really good. Some of the CGI battle scenes were a bit too much, but most of the time it just looked gorgeous.
No PC or love story B.S. - just great story telling with amazing CGI special effects.
Good in that it was focused on just one theme: Telling that story with a lot of much-needed education in how such battles were fought back then. Indeed, how LIFE was back then.
Its a film that WON'T make you say, "Well, that's 2 hours and 18 minutes of my life I am not ever going to get back (sigh)".
VERY good in that ALL the SGW wokey bullshit was ABSENT. I mean, I am not sure when I last saw a bunch of white guys in a film. White guys behaving as white guys.
If Hollywood did this, there would have been some adsurd racial or female replacement of characters or bs like that. Instead, like seven smaller studios did this. Centropolous was one of them and some Japanese one was another. Lionsgate was just the US distributor.
If you have kids or grandkids aged 10 or older, take them to see it too. Because they sure as hell won't learn about this in school and certainly not in this way.
