There's a lot of poor Chinese that can't buy homes. The rich ones are REALLY rich.

Where big government exists, that's where money concentrates... in government connected rich. So just look at wealthy Chinese, most of them are either high ranked government employees, or those connected to them.

Average Chinese family has no money.

So then we don't have to wait for war. We'll just give up our country willingly!

The wars of the 21st century will not be fought with guns, but with Enter buttons.

I think so. Economic warfare.

China has about 300 million people living in 1st world conditions like America.

They also have 1 billion additional people living as dirt poor peasants.

Our upper middle class was also exported to China. All of those Plant and shift managers, machine techs, and upstart industry servicing companies. Are not not jobs done by the folks who live in the sardine can.

Chinese can get rich in several ways, but labor is not one of them.
Political connections and corruption is one way.
The other is entrepreneurial success, maybe also with political connections or without.

Both like the USA for an expensive asset, here the government cannot take your property away as easily as other countries, China is one of them.

Yeah, a Chinese millionaire can buy a few million dollar houses in California and then jettison or escape to the USA. The can sell one or two houses and put it in a mutual fund and live off the return on investment, or they can rent them out.

We have already lost.

China won. It took all our factories, with very willing help from US CEOs and Congressmen like Pelosi who got rich by selling us out.

Nah...

China just dropped the 'peaceful' from their reunification gibberish about Tiawan and have been flying sorties like a muthafucker lately. We've all heard about Hong Kong over the weekend. They are starting shit with India on the border (more than the past) the past couple of weeks and have started to talk about taking Vietnam. Not like the last war with Vietnam which was only vs. a poor China province at the time.

Dog is feeling cornered and wants to bite.

Our own military brass keep blabbing about how they win all the war game modeling they've come up with. I'm sure it's a water-war but I don't think they are blabbing to get $ for the military industrial complex. We're just out-gunned in that region now. They have us beat 10:1 as far as Navy is concerned. Cheap ass boats with decent missiles that can fire at ours being out of our range.

I'd thought this was 20 years out but it's much closer given current events I think.

A lot of them move over to the US permanently. I have had 4 coworkers from China who have no intention of going back. His family is filthy rich from Chinese industry. He's a teacher in the US and drives a Tesla and Porsche.

I know a lot as well. None drive Tesla or Porsche but I work in biotech. Good people. Same with people from India. It's super rare I meet someone from E. Asia, SE. Asia or S. Asia that I don't like.

Thinking....

Yeah, only one bitch from India who came into my lab as a new hire (Senior to me at the time; different project) and started bitching about my Metallica noise. When I quit that job I left that hardware behind for my friends to enjoy haha.

The other was an asshole SW manager from India who treated people around me like shit. I never interacted with him.

2:100s or maybe 1000s...

Same with Russians. Super cool peeps. Goddamn governments though. Not that ours is great just better.

"Wait, if China's wages are so low, how are they..."

Chinese pals have explained that renminbi/yuan never gets out of China.

(Beijing)<->(Hong Kong)<->(Wall Street)

That's how it gets out.

(Yuan)<->(Hong Kong Dollar)<->(US Dollar)

Ah, not even pretending that HK has any autonomy now.
