It's funny how people think that NBA figures were ever authorities on anything other than basketball. They are universally, at this point, all college dropouts who get paid millions of dollars to play a sport. We know they don't have time to read books. They never did.

This is the fallacy that nearly every low level worker believes. They see themselves putting in 40 hours a week and watch the restaurant charge $12 for a burger that costs $3 to make. The owner takes $8.75, the workers take a quarter. They don't count the garbage disposal fees, gas and electric bill, plates, cost of the griddle, the taxes, the cost of the friggin building. It takes hundreds of thousands of dollars to start a restaurant. A lot of people have to put in money they took decades to save up. They take 100 percent of the risk. These people fail to acknowledge all that goes in to building up a business.

How many times have I heard a waiter say, I only make $25k a year and the owner makes $150k when I do all the work? In their deluded world, they would all make $50k a year and the owner would make $55k.

I dropped $50k on a restaurant that almost broke even but never made a profit. No complaining workers, but I did lose it all in equipment, rent, wages, etc.

So close to homemade, but I was never able to get the 20-30% more in revenue I needed to thrive. Had a hardcore of loyal customers (Germans and Brazilians!) & temporary expats working for corps, but not enough locals were interested. I'll post my Nasi Goreng (actually Indonesian/Malaysian) recipe sometime.

Opportunity cost was massive to me, thinking of dividends and growth in the past few years, even with the recent dive.

It's okay to attack Whites, been okay for about a decade. As late as the 2000s, somebody attacking Whites as rich, cops, capitalist slavers would get mainstream pushback, but not for the past decade or so. It's rapidly becoming okay to attack Jews and Asians; DeBlasio ignoring attacks by Farrakhaners in NYC and California Dems attacking Meritocracy to liberate places for underqualified Blacks at the expense of Asians.

I can’t stand to watch most sports, and watching guys talk about it is worse, so I don’t watch ESPN.

I have a friend who bought a tiny food business in a college town in 2004. He turned it into a pretty profitable venture. In the next 6 years, I watched him open up 5 other ventures, all with his own profits. 4 of them, he shut down, because they didn't bring in enough money. It takes guts, balls, and a lot of sacrifice to try to make these things work. He does very well for himself. Most people refuse to even enter the game. They would much rather play it safe and collect a paycheck.

Success requires accountability.

Victim mentality is anathema to accountability.

I tried watching the second season of 'Hanna' on Amazon, but my barf meter was rapidly triggered. Just another lesbian/SJW/ bizarre shoehorn propaganda fantasy. I realize these programs also brainwash blacks to preserve their self defeating grandiose attitudes and dysfunction. The propaganda promotes the spirals of self pity and entitlement. In other words, the progressive agenda: use them for subversion, but always encourage their internecine attitudes that never allow them to truly rise in society.
