Yeah man, only a month ago she was complaining about the hospital being empty. Only a few cases upstairs and that was scaring off the junkies and hypos that normally take up space in an emergency room. So she was bored and actually not working that many days.

The past 10 days or so she said they place has been mobbed/overwhelmed and they are all working overtime. Getting nice bonuses too.

Apparently they've had deaths at all ages too. I wouldn't have believe it if not for it coming from my sister.

In 1980's, again, around the AIDS panic, they ran experiments with dyed aerosols in re-enacted medical environments and had medical personnel go about their business under maximum protective apparatus i.e. masks, gloves gowns, disinfecting protocols. In short, the dyes wound up all over the place aka fomites on touched surfaces, people wound up touching their noses and faces over and over, and no amount of prevention, no matter how onerous, prevented the aerosol dyes from winding up all over the place on surfaces and people. Also, hospitals are the places where the maximum amount of proscriptive masking, gowning and gloving take place, yet they remain the single most dangerous place as a niduses of pathogens of all kinds, including viruses.

Assuming you have Covid and you wear a mask, if you sneeze once, you have turned your mask into a fomite, fiddling with it will automatically result in transfer, anything you touch will now have virus, and points of commonality in touching will become contaminated. Watch people in public. They fiddle with their masks, they touch their faces, they get uncomfortable and expose their noses, they throw their masks away in public places etc. etc. creating an undefeatable chain of fomites. If somebody sneezes in your vicinity with Covid and they are wearing a mask, a violent sneeze will not be stayed by a mask, anyway, and multiple sneezes just result int he sufferer removing the mask because sneezing causes oxygen deficiency, and the surfaces will get blasted nonetheless.

I see the absurdity at Kaiser. Stand in social distancing line, girl watches you disinfect hands, makes sure your mask is on. You go into pharmacy for something, standing away from other patrons. You fumble and fiddle with mask at some point, and you see others fumbling and fiddling with masks. Show card (covered with hypothetical virus) to attendant. Pay with credit card at Point of Service machine. Credit card is contaminated from fiddling, then, of course, credit card machine is loaded with multiple contaminants from multiple clients. You punch credit card and then return credit card fomite to wallet after touching it many times.

Masks are doing nothing to control spreads and fomites. The viruses and humans have co-evolved, and the viruses spread through our regular vital activities which cannot be stopped under any circumstances, no matter how extreme the curtailments.

So, what's left? Masks are placebos for the health superstitious, who seem stuck on the idea that they are controlling aerosols.

The respiratory virus is not defeated by behavior, it is spread by behavior that cannot be cancelled. It is defeated through attenuation ( evolving to less infectious and lethal forms) and immune systems chewing them up, and the group immunity adapting. This requires exposure, not social distancing and masks. Sad, but true, there is no other way to the other side, and casualties are part of the inevitable natural cycle. You might take measures to try to isolate the most vulnerable for a while. However, stuffing them into homes and hospitals will likely be the best way to expose them. As they seem to be demonstrating in their field experiments, the so-called savior respirators are actually euthanasia machines.

Fear of plague does everything the psychopathic political control element wants: strikes terror, pits people against one another, prevent gathering, and allows the government to impose series of proscriptive and punitive actions on the populace with the terrorized populace' own complicity. The fear of pandemic is a political tool that allows implementation of social control elements that the populace would otherwise bridle at. It is the perfect political duck blind and social control device.

Exactly - well said. Masks likely increase the spreads rather than reducing it. Unless you're a 100% trained health worker your handling of mask and surfaces will make things worse - that's why MDs and nurses wear full body suits (if the hospital can afford it) that go into a decontamination chamber after usage
