Anyone die yet in the inner circle? Now that would make news. Meanwhile people die of flu, cancer, drugs, etc.. We have a new infection. Not a big deal. CV-19 really is over.

But now Al Gore tells me that the virus is really a result of global warming.

We’re all going to die!

How can I spend my riches and get hot chicks in the time I have left on earth?

I’m going to Florida, Colombia, Peru, and Baja Sur Mexico to find out.

You're saying that 1 out of 8 people who die just happen to be infected with COVID? That's a tad difficult to believe.

We are told this disease is so infectious we need to shut our country down, close schools, wear masks everywhere.......basically changing our way of life.

How is it hard to believe?

We all are going to get it.

In the typical year I come down with cold and flu symptoms multiple times. Typically I dose on Vitamin C and the symptoms quickly abate. Once every couple years a cold or flu comes along and kicks my butt. I am down for a couple of days. Rest, lots of liquids, Nyquil to treat symptoms, and I'm better. If I was near death or so obese I couldn't cough up my phlegm these colds/ flus would kill me.

Viruses are part of life. You can't stop them short of hazmat suit and air fed respirator. Total lockdown might work but people would starve. This Covid-19 reaction is a sham. Never before have we locked down healthy people to protect the vulnerable. We always shut down the vulnerable because there are much fewer of them and they make little contribution to society.

Yet here we are. Trillions poorer and more of our freedoms have been restricted. Welcome to the new normal.

Covid-19 is nothing compared to the killer virus humanity is overdue for.

I don't know if I have some kind of innate immunity, but I had a terrible bout of the flu the first winter I lived in Dallas, December 1967/Jan. '68. Had to miss three days of work at Lone Star Gas Co. where I'd hired on 11/29. I didn't find out until several years later because she didn't want to scare me, but my landlady told me my supervisor called and wondered whether I had gone on a bender of some kind but she said no I was very dependable. I guess it worked because I stayed there for 30 years. After that, I never had the flu again, but could depend on having a cold every year, preceded by a sore throat. My mother was 16 in 1918 and I never thought the ask if her family out in West Texas, which didn't loose anyone but knew anyone who died from it or at least got sick. With so many affected, I think 650,000, it would be hard to not know at least someone who got sick. I can't remember my mother ever getting the flu or even having a cold and she lived to be 94.

Lol... As usual. My post wasn't about Trump but that's where you took it. Covid is what it is. We cannot stop it like we cannot stop most flu bugs. Get over it. This isn't politics, it's science.

That's an interesting question, but diverts from the topic at hand. If COVID disappeared on Nov. 3rd, why is it running rampant within the Trump administration?

The answer is simple...you are being manipulated for political purposes. You are what politicians call the useful idiots.

Biden can't make COVID go away, nor does he promise to. Biden can provide strong, consistent, science-based leadership on this issue and help unite our nation around containing the virus as best as possible as we head into the final stages of vaccine development. Once we have one or more vaccines approved and on the market, we can begin to breath easy.

Trump's weak, inconsistent, and non-science based leadership is largely responsible for his loss.

I assume, like any good Bolshevik, you support forced vaccination? The left hates anything that isn't mandatory.

Will it disappear from Iran, Russia, Brazil, France and England too? In order for that to happen, all the other nations on earth must be part of the conspiracy. Is Putin part of the conspiracy?

Can you explain Sweden and Chine please?

Actually, it was dishonest hack media and Democrats portraying that the US was somehow uniquely bad at managing COVID.

When in reality, we are doing about the same if not better to most European nations when it comes to death per capita.

I'm a Reagan conservative. You are free to be vaccinated or not, as you choose, as long as wiser folks can protect themselves.

Is the vaccine part of the conspiracy? What are your thoughts on Bill Gates?

There is a lot there about Bill Gates that should make you hair stand up on end. Of course, how do I KNOW what the truth is? And that is just it, the TRUTH is a slippery wet fish you will never get ahold of. WHO is the arbiter of truth? You? Me? This is why individualism and freedom are more important that ANYONE else's opinion. Believe what you want about the Plandemic, I don't care. Hide under the bed for the rest of your life, I do not care. It is not for the mentally, emotionally and physically weak to carry forth. Humans gonna human.

I think you should stay in your home forever. Every flu season is going to kill people. Get used to hiding under your bed 6 months per year.
The lies are so deep, you can't move or think for yourself. Turn off the TV.

Riddle me this...
1) how many years does it take to come up with a safe and effective vaccine? This includes the trial process.
2) has there ever been a vaccine for this type of virus (as I understand it, no)
3) Every vaccine ever created never eradicated what it was made for. We still have polio.
4) How are you going to mask 7-8 billion people in order to beat this? We still have planes, trains
and boats bringing people in and out of the country. Lets say we close the borders and stop all
flights (which Trump tried to do), are we going to become isolationists? I thought that was bad.
Maybe it's only bad when it is a political winner position?

EVERYTHING from this point on will be a political position. Remember, you heard it here first...

FREEDOM IS THE ONLY ANSWER TO ALL YOUR PROBLEMS. THE GOVERNMENT STANDS
BETWEEN YOU AND YOUR MAKER AS WELL AS YOUR BEST DECISIONS FOR YOURSELF.
COLLECTIVISM IS A DEAD END.
26   GlocknLoad   2020 Nov 8, 12:17pm

Hospitalization and death rates for colds are essentially negligible.

How come flu deaths seem to be absent from death totals?
How come less people will die this year, in toto, than in 2019, 2018 and 2017?
Is that part of your conspiracy that there is no conspiracy?
If medicine is to combat every virus that comes along, will humans species
pass along weaker or stronger genes?

Actually this may be somewhat true. Thanks to modern vaccines, almost all children survive to adulthood. This was not the case during most of human history, and most children died of preventable diseases such as smallpox, diptheria, etc. One could make the argument that by sparing the individual, we weaken the species.

Take eyeglasses for example. If you require eyeglasses, then you probably would not have survived long as a hunter/gatherer. So almost everyone who wears glasses or contacts would be dead.

Hmm, we are making some headway now. So, the next question would be about intelligence. If we dumb everyone down to the point they cannot make their own decisions, will we pass along stronger or weaker genes/IQ?

No thanks, but I appreciate your concern. I live in La Jolla, a suburb of San Diego. Here we have restaurants and stores open, as well as beaches and parks. When people are in close proximity such as in a store, masks are required, and folks keep slightly more distant than they used to. These simple, common sense measures are easy to comply with and allow us to keep our businesses open while keeping the infection rate low while testing of the vaccines is completing.

Areas of the country where people refuse to practice these simple, common sense measures are experiencing the highest COVID rates in the nation, and some of the highest per capita rates in the world. These are, unsurprisingly, red states where Trump's lack of leadership is taking it's heaviest toll.

The heaviest death toll is in blue states such as NY. Also IL lots of cases. People should not be looking for leadership wrt respiratory viruses but should be totally free to make their own decisions. There's nothing politics can do except for keeping it out of nursing homes which NY didn't do. Also the only way to get there is herd immunity. Sweden lead the way.

Nomograph lives in one of the richest places in California that can still manage to keep some shops and restaurants open under Newsom's strict rules because these are very rich businesses thanks to their proximity to the beach and touristy areas. They can let most of their Mexican help go and float at half capacity for a while with less staff without losing everything.

Nomograph got his and he is fine.

Meanwhile there are many more struggling business owners in California and throughout the country that aren't so lucky.

China enforces highly authoritarian testing, tracing, and lockdown protocols, the likes of which would never be tolerated in the West. They do show, however, that the virus can be contained through enforcement of extraordinary measure.

All your future and past comments by default are invalid after this gem. You seriously believe the Chinese? They've easily lost 1M plus people. They lie. I know you believe they built a hospital in a week using backhoes to grade the land for said hospital built in a week........

It's amazing how little people know about construction and infrastructure engineering. You don't need a degree in that to see how the Chinese lie. But hey, their contact tracing and lockdowns worked. Lol.
