I saw the meme below on FB and it got me thinking. This year they printed my ballot on the spot. Why not have a bar code or q code to ensure one ballot per person? They could do the same for mail in ballots. Request one and you get it preprinted with your name on it. Now I can already here the counter argument. Voting should be anonymous. Sure that's been tradition, who you vote for is your business... but certainly the system needs some fixing (I know bad pun).

Anyhow, I stared this thread so you all can post how you would recommend modifying the voting system with the aim of restoring its integrity. Voter ID would be a great first step IMHO but even then mail in ballots (which I suspect will be more in vouge on the go forward) still are a bit of an black hole and invite the appearance of, if not actual fraud.

Can you read barcode?

That's the problem, same day ballots were created with a barcode, and they say the machine then reads the barcode and not what the voter select in the bubble .

So if you're Dominion and you're printing out preloaded ballots for Biden, but you bubble in Trump, you wouldn't be none the wiser.

I cannot get people to understand this and I don't know how to convey it apparently. The reason we do not have a verifiable election system is that it's been corrupt for decades, and the reason a GOOD NUMBER of people who have been "elected" is through ballot fraud. By a good number, I mean more than 10% - could be as much as 50%

People who have been placed into key positions of power don't want to have a verifiable election system where they would lose in the next election would they?

It's TRIVIAL to make a voting system that is impervious or near impervious to being stolen. If you offer a solution that works, they won't adopt it. Many systems have been proposed. We do not live in a Republic, we don't live in a Democracy. When Trump won, it was a FLUKE. That's why they spent 4 years trying to remove him, from Rosenstein trying to get people to wear a wear to oust him with the 25th amendment, to "Russian Collusion" which they just lied about for 3 fucking years, to finally "Trump with-held aid to insist that corruption be investigated before money is turned over to the corrupt government" - to finally, massive ballot fraud.

Stop offering a fix. They know what the fix is. They aren't this fucking incompetent. They are this fucking corrupt.

They know, they don’t want to.
