I'm happy.
I bought some shares of GME stonk at average cost of 100/share.
For some reason it's very satisfying compared to mutual funds.
The funny thing is I think a news feed brought it to my attention, I never read reddit blogs.
The whole thing is good diversion from worrying what Biden will ruin next.

Same here. It's just funny as hell. Me and my coworkers all bought around 200/share. No one gives a shit if we lose it. But if it. Helps bankrupt a hedge, it was worth it.

I worked at a company where, shortly before we lost our jobs, our stock went down to literally one cent per share. A colleague bought a thousand shares.

He lost it all!

It's hanging around $120 today. Wondering if it'll go parabolic.

Ultimately, it will tank, but when is the question.

I’m going to try to hodl GME until $500 or so.
I’m hoping that a lot of guys buy it to “get rich quick” , “fuck the hedge funds”, and that the hedge funds themselves are squeezed and are stuck between a rock and a hard place.
I’m able to wait it out.
I think it’s going to eventually go below $100 and be above $10 or so.
But Tesla is worth a fortune and I still don’t see them making much $ in a crummy business (cars)
If I were smart and had any balls I would buy some extra AAPL ($123) with my margin and sell it when it’s back at $170.
But I’m a chickenshit mostly.

He had $50,000 sitting in the bank, rotting.
Now he’s checking the price constantly and telling me “tell me the next time you get a good idea!”
He’s got chickenshit remorse big time.
What amazes me is I have no idea where I heard about WSBets and GME but I’m glad I did.
It wasn’t TV, I don’t watch the talking heads.

It's more gambling than investing. Yes he would have made a killing but hindsight is 20/20. There are a ton of bag holders at 300-400.

I recognize it’s gambling but his basis was going to be 50-70 bucks.
