Not sure if any of you saw this, but they had I95 North of Boston shut down the other morning.

https://www.zerohedge.com/political/heavily-armed-rise-moors-members-standoff-between-massachusetts-police-i-95

When I first saw the headline I expected it would have been some MAGA types going up to their hunting cabin in the woods for the 4th. Turns out it was some Muslim group calling themselves "Rise of the Moors".

Something about this seems fishy. I can't quite explain what exactly. But the circle dosent square. I think this one's worth keeping an eye on. I suspect there is more to this than what has been reported.

These "moors" were jus exercising their constitutional right to travel armed, yet MA RACISTS! followed the lead of 1870's democrat's and could not tolerate armed blacks.

Some papers used a stock photo of "White Militia Members"
5   Patrick   2021 Jul 4, 2:42pm

Does anyone believe the papers at all anymore?

How many times can they blatantly lie before everyone catches on?

Maybe it's a TDS thing where reality doesn't matter.

Maybe they are an Othello repertoire group.
7   komputodo   2021 Jul 4, 7:14pm

They got it wrong...Should have read "rise of the MOOPS"
8   Patrick   2021 Jul 4, 10:34pm

Ah, a Seinfeld reference:

In the episode "The Bubble Boy", George claims "The Moops" is the answer to the Trivial Pursuit question "Who invaded Spain in the 8th century?" The Bubble Boy contested the answer, claiming it was the Moors (which is correct). George, with his stubborn nature, in reaction to the belligerent ...

It said Moops on the card....rules are rules.

The bubble boy! Great episode.

Huey and the Panthers traveled unharrassed. Cops questioned but always surrendered to to his irrefutable logic that an unarmed black man is a dead one.

That about sums it up Patrick. No trust in the media anymore or even govt.

The only thing that would right things is if Trump were reinstated after the multiple audits.

Then he goes through and clears house with the media companies. Not sure how this can happen legally.

You're a cop. You see a car on the side of the highway at 2 am. You stop to see if they are OK. It could be a simple breakdown, or more likely a drunk. The last thing your expecting is a group of armed men. Brown men. Flying a Morrocan flag. A few days before July 4. Your suspicious even before you engage with them.

They seem belligerent and don't want to answer simple questions such as their names. The insist that are peaceful, but they are better armed than you are. Hell yeah I'd call for backup too and I'd probably find a few things to charge them with, just to get them off the street until this mess can be sorted out. You don't know what your dealing with. Terrorist pops right to the forefront.

But what crime did they commit? Being armed? Being on the shoulder (most highways in MA it's illegal to be stopped on the side of the road unless there is a mechanical breakdown) Being Muslim? Being uncooperative? Not stopping in the North End for a canoli? (Just kidding.) But seriously what crimes did they commit? Flip side if they had simply been let go, then committed a heinous act... what then? Better to err on the side of caution. I don't fault the troopers in this case. But what exactly did they do wrong?

Here come the whole states rights vs constitutionally protected rights arguments. Something like this could go to the Supreme Court. They might even win. But do we want militias with allegiance to a foreign country running amuck unchecked? Not really. For me it's a conundrum. I'm all for personal freedom and the 2nd ammendment, but I can't help but think that the Islamic radicals are trying to probe the underbelly of our laws to ultimately use them against us.

I'm tracking this story closely.

THIS is what absolutely confounds me. I figured once they didn't find the weapons of mass destruction program I figured it would end the credibility of the media, and the media would have to trip all over themselves for not doing better due diligence or die.

The Daily Show back in the naughts basically became a major news source for a lot of people, and all The Daily Show (T.D.S. ironically) did was make fun of all the BS that was being claimed in news, Fox in particular, but they hit everybody.

I have come to believe that nobody really watches the "news" or bothers to read The New York Times and they are not dependent on success to stay in business. They just have to keep up the appearance that we have an operating free press.

Here, some of you MIGHT enjoy some of the programs here: https://republicbroadcasting.org/ - I like a couple of the shows. Not many RINOs there, few of the callers are a bit, um, stereotypical but generally the hosts are pretty intelligent and free thinking.

Open carry in MA is illegal, I'm sure.

Still hopium.

But the longer Arizona takes the less likely anything will happen.

Maybe all of the female voters in America secretly voted for Biden because Trump (propaganda) turned them off so much? Not likely, but I did hear one woman say, "Our country can't survive another four years of Trump!" She never would have voted for Trump anyway.

Many people BELIEVE Biden won and have been hearing about the evil attempts of the Republicans in Arizona to "disenfranchise" minority voters.

If America's audit in Arizona shows that Biden won the state fairly I will move on and participate in the '22 and '24 elections. If the audit shows widespread and blatant cheating I fear that this war will go hot. Nobody should want that.

This sounds like you would prefer that they declare it as being a fair election even if it wasn't. Just like the msm and the supreme court.

Agreed. Blatant cheating? Certainly possible, which is why there are looking at it more closely. Widespread? I'd be surprised... but it wouldn't have taken much to flip AZ (among others)

This whole thing (the way our country has polarized with the MSM abetting) is like watching a slow motion train wreck. If we keep on this path it won't end well for anyone.

Let's be real. 20 years on there are still extremists who want to ruin our way of life and in some respects they've won. Look at the blood and treasure we've spilt. The laws we've enacted. The freedoms we've traded for "security". The erosion of "family values" and promotion of fringe behaviors as somehow normal.

It's like watching the collapse of Rome, which fell apart slowly, then all at once.

This is why I'm reading The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire by Gibbon.

I definitely see some similarities, such as the loss of civic virtue which is almost inevitable with too much divisive diversity. Fortunately, we know the answer and it's written on our money: E Pluribus Unum.

BLM and CRT are directly destructive to American civic virtue, so I assume they are in some way organized or funded by China.

No. I hope they call it as it is. I suspect the audit will reveal enough fraud to reverse the election. IF, after that, other state follow suit and conduct FORENSIC audits I believe they too will find fraud.

Either it's all good, there was massive fraud, or it all gets swept under the rug.

Anyway, I see no civil resolution.
22   Patrick   2021 Jul 6, 5:49pm

I do think most Americans are still attached to the idea of democracy.

Hopefully proving the elimination of democracy in the last election will be enough of an affront to that cherished ideal that it can overcome TDS. But I'm not sure. Those who suffer from TDS have shown themselves willing to kill themselves and their children to get at Trump, so maybe elimination of democracy isn't a big deal to them.
23   Ceffer   2021 Jul 6, 5:52pm

Whether one 'likes' Trump or not, he was elected. You can see the alternative when the shadow cheaters and subversives 'appoint' the most vile, perverted, and crooked person possible in place of the person who actually got elected.

Because there is no civil resolution possible. The country is divided and will continue to be that way. As far as elections go, the losing side will now always believe that there was fraud. Once you lose trust, all is lost.

Haha, this site is starting to remind me of Stormfront (no offense to anybody) - but they were like - "sure Jewish people are nationalists - what the hell is wrong with that?".

The "Moors" are kind of sketchy, and it's suggested they are black supremacists. I don't believe in racial supremacy, and I don't think that's a value of the United States. I believe in a Meritocracy. These guys are kind of scary, but really, employing my values and thinking, "what the hell is wrong with that"? Although if what is reported is true, they hate my guts and would kill me on a flip of a coin. Their crime would be murder if that happened, not hating me because I'm white.

I think you expect the answer to be "Jews!"

But I think the real answer are sociopaths. I don't think evil resides in an particular genotype. I don't think sociopathy is, generally, genetically inherited, I agree with BF Skinner on this one, learned behavior.

But there are some cultures with particular genotypes that do appear to have a predilection to sociopathy. Still, I think this is mostly learned behavior, not inherited.

If I'm wrong about my opinion about this being behaviorism versus genetics, and it's genetics, the solution is too horrible to contemplate. I couldn't be a part of that even if its for the long term benefit of the human race. The rest of you have to fight it out, I'd be sitting that conflict out.

I totally agree with that. My reply was in response to Patrick insinuating that the Chinese were behind it. I think that over 99% of people of whatever race or nationality are occupied trying to keep food on the table and a roof over their families head. Only the generationally super-rich sociopaths would have the inclination to plan out and finance schemes to overthrow governments.
