As it's San Francisco, something tells me that the engineers were hired on the basis of something other than their own competence...

I know it's been a while it's been sinking, but engineers have no idea the breaking point before this thing kills hundreds and causes $1B in property damage depending how it falls (value wise). Just take the fucker down. It's gonna be a 9 figure bill to shore up a sky scraper, that's for sure.
