Because this was never, ever about your health, or even about their shot, and certainly not about Covid. It was and always will be about control. It's time you started understanding bio-digital convergence. It's time you learned about CBDC's. This is the framework the "health" passport will operate on. THIS is why your privacy matters.

Read the summary, then scroll 3/4ths of the way down to the section titled Actual Geolocation Data of the Individual. That, and the following sections are where things become clear.

There's privacy and then there's telling me what I put in my body. I'm not anti-vax, but I get that decision if I want to get a small pox vax or whatever injection, or at least for my kids. I will never get the current iterations of these vaccines. Throw me in a camp. I'll fucking destroy you (not you personally nutt).

Privacy is easier to control, but is less invasive than injecting stuff into your body. If FB has my info oh well. I'm not injecting myself with the fastest released vaccine until I see data at bare minimum 5 years out. I'll take the "risk" in the meantime and live my life.

If the system they describe is ever put in place, they won't just tell you what to take, but when, how much, and the "why" will be built on a mountain of your personal info you are volunteering every day.

If you agree we all deserve free choice, then don't feed a system designed to take that away.

I'm okay with privacy. Everyone has their own decision to make on that. I'm probably more public than I should be. That said. Come trying to inject me with something that doesn't work. Again, not a direct threat, but you'll die. I will kill someone that tries to force me to get an injection. From there I'll kill the people that decided this was a good idea.

I fear less for my life than the life of my children and the future that seems to be fucked up. I'll take a public stand if I have to. We need fighters and not hiders. Not calling you that, but we're in times where you have to put your ass on the line. Covid is the god damn flu. Just another variant. What if there was an actual pandemic? We're at a breaking point. Someone needs to fight.

Completely agree, and privacy is part of that fight. Just like refusing to disclose your information to HR, who has no business knowing what you decide to inject, or not inject. Just like refusing to wear a mask. Just like boycotting establishments that attempt to curtail your freedoms as a perquisite to buying their goods or services. I think before things get physical we can start by always refusing to disclose personal medical info, always refusing to wear masks, always refusing to share our data, and paying with cash or barter whenever possible.

But certainly, even after doing all of the above, we need to be ready to physically defend our freedom, not just for us, but for our children.

I'm just sick of it. We're in agreement. I fell asleep on a flight last Thursday and got fucking whacked by a flight attendant because my neck gaiter slipped off. Not tapped. Hit. I'm 6'3". Do that to some Karen and see how fast you're applying for UE after the FA gets fired. I was pretty pissed, but flying is a unique position where those running the operation have huge latitude to do what they what.

I don't want to get banned from the airline I use, so I'm kind of fucked. Complaints do nothing. I've thrown enough of those out and you need more than one person to make change. I did get TSA to acknowledge me on one though. Privacy aside, we've paid and have TSA pre-check. Ass hole had us pull our computers out, shoes off and I went ballistic. This was Miami. WTF did I pay for and give up privacy wise?

Now I'm your bitch taking my shoes off and pulling shit out of my bag? Closest I've been to getting arrested and I've done some stupid shit. There were homeless bathing on the non-secure side, but I had to take my f'ing shoes off having gotten TSA Pre. I'm not racist at all, but it was a black guy and I honestly believe he was sticking it to whitey. TSA got the complaint. Who knows if he got canned, but I spoke my mind with him for sure and reported everything.

I'm sorry. Doesn't sound like the kind of treatment a free human being should have to put up with.

When I worked in Chicago, I ran into this a lot. Some black CTA people would make you push on the subway turnstile a time or two before opening it, for example. But only if you were white.

I suppose it's racist to complain about black people being racist...
