All the other candidates either support COVID passports or haven't made a definitive statement on the issue.

Even Bernier will probably support them if he wins and they drive a dumptruck full of money up to his house. If he says no to that, he gets "the talk" and goes along.

We are a group of extremely concerned health professionals in the Okanagan Valley, B.C. We have some critical questions regarding COVID-19, specifically about the current reporting of case numbers, statistics, and testing, and the restrictions imposed by your health orders. While discussion of adjunctive and alternative safe and effective treatments is being stifled, the policies of mandatory experimental vaccines and vaccine passports are being forced upon our province, our country, and many other countries worldwide.

Addressing Dr. Henry, Mr. Dix and Mr. Horgan: We—as healthcare practitioners and citizens—expect and deserve answers that address these concerns directly. Proclaiming that vaccine therapies are “safe and effective” is misleading and sloganistic. The reports of vaccine injuries are increasing every day, yet are being ignored. We are witnessing an increase in Covid illness occurring in fully vaccinated individuals and, irrationally, that is being followed by a promise of mandated boosters.1 The lack of answers and the vague information being provided over the past 18+ months do not instill confidence in British Columbians.

This lack of transparency has resulted in unprecedented divisiveness amongst citizens, families and friends. There are individuals who are angry that some concerned citizens are not complying and are comparing our current circumstances to the Holocaust. While this may seem extreme, the Holocaust also began with the small removal of freedoms2, just as we are seeing today. This historical atrocity started out as a slow and seemingly innocent removal of rights by the government, but quickly morphed into media control, divisiveness between groups of people, and limitations to what one select section of society could do. In this way, the ordinary citizen easily became an enemy of the state. Today a one-sided, politically-driven narrative, which is being fuelled by politicians and the media, is causing a similar divisiveness. When only one side of the story is made available to the public, it is easy to understand how individuals can become disgruntled toward other citizens who are fighting to maintain their freedom and bodily autonomy. A political agenda is clearly being pushed here, and the refusal to address questions and concerns of healthcare practitioners and citizens of B.C. speaks volumes. We hope all of B.C. and Canada will carefully consider the information included in this document and join us in demanding clear, direct and truthful answers.

I've long wondered what happened to psychos that used to be fairly prevalent in the 70's. Serial killers, kidnappers, the kind of person that would drag a woman off the street to rape in a back alley, those kinds of people. You really don't see (or at least hear about) that happening much at all anymore. It's extremely rare. Why do those people no longer seem to exist?

This week, my home country of Canada implemented a slew of new travel restrictions in response to Omicron, the newest ideation of what will surely be endless Covid variants.

Based on the reports, this variant is mild and nothing to panic about. But hey, why not panic, just to be safe? And by “safe,” I mean “sufficiently naive and fearful so as to ensure we continue to comply with ever-irrational regulations and restrictions, dutifully marching along dressed in useless and humiliating masks that restrict both breathing and communication...

This past week, the Canadian government reintroduced on-arrival Covid testing and quarantine for travelers from all countries except the US. If you’re a Canadian and you did as you were told and pledged your allegiance to Pfizer, you still have to get tested before you can board a plane home and then get tested again upon arrival. You may still have to quarantine for fourteen days, even if vaccinated, if a border officer “determines that you must self-isolate.” That quarantine may have to take place in a “designated quarantine facility” so that select parties can at least profit from the end of civilized society. Travelers from designated countries have already been forced into ill-equipped quarantine facilities despite being whatever now qualifies as “fully vaccinated” and having received a negative Covid test. ...

At this point, we should all be able to see the irrationality of the Canadian national predicament. To be fair, it has been irrational for a long time, but what we now know for certain is that the cult of masks stops the spread of little more than smiles. ...

If you’re wondering when all this will end, the answer is: as soon as you choose it.

NEW BRUNSWICK – Dorothy Shephard offers a truly unique approach to public health policy in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Unlike every other Health Minister across Canada, Dorothy Shephard doesn’t believe that access to food is a basic human right, as outlined in pesky international treaties, such as the United Nations International Covenant of Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (1976) and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (1948). Besides, these are old treaties from before the pandemic.

Indeed, Minister Shephard public policy vision also appears to ignore the Guidance on Essential Services and Functions in Canada During the COVID-19 Pandemic, which designates food as part of Canada’s basic critical infrastructure, and therefore deemed “essential”.

That’s why she announced in early December 2021 that New Brunswick will be first province in Canada to allow grocery stores to ban the unvaccinated from purchasing food, in exchange for higher store capacities.

To be sure, as a leader in public health, Minister Shephard understands that private businesses might need some convincing to start starving their former customers – so why not introduce a 50% reduction in store capacity limits at the same time – just in case the grocers don’t immediately move to deny thousands of New Brunswickers food?

Minister Shephard, whose extensive public health policy experience includes writing romantic comedies novels, and being an owner/operator of a Benjamin Moore Colour Centre, is the first Canadian politician to understand that starving the unvaccinated is a bold approach to the pandemic, and clearly the best way to enhance public health and safety in New Brunswick.

But if you believe that access to food in New Brunswick is a basic human right, and should never be denied to citizens anywhere in the province on the basis of a person’s medical status, you might want to politely reach out to Minister Shephard and suggest she reverse this policy, or resign along with her Chief Medical Officer, Jennifer Russell.
