Besides ditching Prime. Could you imagine a global Amazon one day boycott a year? Amazon is so Big, that everyone in the world decided to not buy anything from Amazon for one day. Amazon would have to downsize in some way to cover their loss. They are so big, they have to be hitting that paper every day.
This bodes well for Shopify, my favorite stock. Sellers set their own terms there on their own "storefronts", renting space from Shopify as it were.
On the other hand, there is no unified index of Shopify merchants available to the public afaik, so it's hard to find one that's selling what you're looking for. Merchants love the lack of direct competition, but it's not so great for the buyer who wants to compare prices. On Amazon you are at least presented with various prices by various merchants.
"Prime" means the manufacturer has to send material to the Amazon warehouse, pay fees for being in prime, and takes a big hit to the profit margin:
