This for real?

Don't think so.

Now that Google and Facebook have killed all real journalism by sucking away the revenue, we simply cannot know the truth. Except that whatever the remaining corporate media says is almost certainly false, especially NPR.
121   HeadSet   2021 Oct 27, 7:55am

This is completely false. Note the source of the article has a URL from ".tk." (donaldtrumpnews.tk) .tk is the Internet country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for Tokelau, a territory of New Zealand in the South Pacific.

This looks like a false flag pretending to be a Trump site.

For all we know it was her first time as an armorer.

Weapons are dangerous. If totally untrained and having never fired a gun, you should know better though. Double and triple check everything. Gun are not a game to be lax with.

I've been around reckless gun owners. Fortunately when I hang with those guys one of them is a former Army guy. The other guys would leave loaded handguns out on the coffee table at the one guys house. My buddy always clears the chamber and removes all bullets first thing. He's always saying those guys are fucking idiots with their guns. They're nice and well intentioned dudes, but all it take is one new moron you invite over to fuck around with it and shoot someone. In this case it was Baldwin. Even if it's the armorer's fault for picking up the wrong bullets, Baldwin is the one shooting. The buck stops with the person firing it. Period.

I'm pro 2A and think everyone should have one (I don't), but the only restriction in my opinion is either military trained or a bare minimum 1-2 hour class on the basics of gun safety. And probably certain classes of felons shouldn't have guns at all. They'll of course still get them anyway if they want to do bad things, so that's always been a moot point with gun restriction. There is always a black market when you restrict things, always.

,

I'd have him gently educate them, and while he is doing this, have him train you as well because you can never be too careful with a weapon.

I never took a gun training course, and I ought to. I know how to treat a weapon, with GREAT RESPECT and I've never pointed a weapon at a person in my life, or anything I wasn't comfortable shooting. Still, there's only certain guns I know how to properly clear the barrel and chamber. Shotgun I'm OK with, anything else, well - it's not my gun, and I ask for advice.

I agree, this is ultimately Baldwin's fault, but at the same time - why the fuck were there live bullets on a set? Why did they have REAL GUNS that could be loaded with REAL BULLETS on a set? I don't see any reason any weapon on set should be able to be fired. Even blanks, they shouldn't fit a conventional REAL WEAPON. It just blows my mind they are still using real weapons at all. How much would it cost to make a "barrel" that isn't even hollow? How much would it cost to make a dummy bullet that is a single piece of metal, and can't separate - which is why Brandon Lee was killed (they had a gun with dummy bullets, the shell of the bullet dislodged from the bullet tip, it was loaded with a blank, the blank cause the bullet tip to fire and hit Lee) - if it was one piece that couldn't happen.

Everything about this is reckless. If the weapons were all IMPOSSIBLE to fire, you wouldn't need a professional armorer on set. How much money would that save?

Haha, Google and Facebook didn't kill journalism. It's been completely dead for 2 decades. Journalism killed off journalism. If they weren't such a bunch of fucking liars, they would be doing fine.

Back in the 1990's I WOULD have read "news" if it wasn't more sloppy and erroneous than the BS I read online. I figured "well, they'll survive because they will get the story right", but instead they reprinted articles from the Onion and other satire sites without attribution, ALL THE TIME. I used to read articles, then pull out a dozen words in quotes, and enter them into a search engine, only to find out that "their article" was a dozen "journalists" articles, reprinted with attribution EVERYWHERE.

All that's really gone is the ILLUSION we ever had a "news" media.

It doesn't take that much experience or skill to fill a barrel up with molten aluminum and metal. Hell, you can just remove the firing pin if you want to be cheap.

If you use a real gun with blanks you don't have to fake the smoke and flames of a real discharge. Blanks will give you at least some amount of recoil as well.

In addition to all the usual safety protocols, I'd suggest welding in a small ring that fits inside the barrel near the breech. The ring would allow gasses to pass through the barrel but would be close enough to the breech that it would prevent a full-length cartridge (with bullet protruding from the end) from being fully inserted and bolt locked.

Concealed carry course. I took one here in TX and it was quite useful. First rule they teach, which Baldwin broke, is to not point gun, even if it is empty, at anything/anyone you are not ready to shoot.

Oh, I know that rule. If I pointed even a BB gun at anybody as a kid, my father would have screamed at me, forced me to put down the gun, then would have literally kicked me in the ass for being so stupid. It didn't happen to me, but it happened to my brother.

Another rule is to place your finger on the trigger guard, not the trigger, until you're ready to actually shoot even when you're preparing to shoot.

I'm pretty safe around weapons, in part that I'm terrified that I might set it off. When I have a weapon, even unloaded, I treat it as if it's about to go off at any random time. Point to the floor, keep the safety on, and keep your hand away from that trigger. One of my neighbor's had a friend that accidentally shot his wife while cleaning his gun - he killed her. I knew a girl that had an eye shot out because her brother was screwing around when they were kids.

It's absolutely infuriating that Baldwin was even able to kill somebody to me. First, he hasn't had any weapons training in his life for him to even be able to do this, and second, it's extreme negligence to be using real weapons on set AND/OR having live rounds on set. Hutchins' husband should sue them all into bankruptcy.

And the most infuriating part is this asshole, this moron, is lecturing people about the need for gun restrictions. WE KNOW how dangerous the are, but this mother fucker worm didn't. If he was fucking around on set, pointing a gun as a "joke", he should be tried for manslaughter, at minimum.

If I shot and killed somebody by accident, I think it's likely I'd make my apologies first, then turn a gun on myself. Turn around is only fair.

If he did that, I think it's fair to call him an unprosecuted murderer in public.

Sure, I know he will get off, but if he was fucking around on the set - that manslaughter at the minimum and murder at the most and nobody should let him forget that for the rest of his life.

It's got to be in my top ten all-time favorite movies.

Kind of mocks the Irish, but that's OK.

A few tweets by @MichaelMalice:

New Hollywood disclaimer: No cinematographers were harmed in the making of this film

Republicans should push the Alec Baldwin Protection Act, mandating a gun safety course for anyone working on a set with firearms
Would also serve to counter the Cathedral's attempts to stigmatize guns as self-detonating totems of evil by forcing casts to become familiar w them

We're all going to feel really stupid when Alec Baldwin's next murder garners him enough sympathy from the corporate press to get him elected President.

If Alec Baldwin believed guns were as dangerous as he claims to, he would have been absolutely paranoid about gun safety (like any responsible gun owner).
Rules for thee, but not for me.

A prop gun is what Hollywood leftist call real guns they handle improperly in order to feign innocence

Alec Baldwin is already facing more consequences for killing a woman than Andrew Cuomo faced for killing thousands of elderly.

By this time next year, Alec Baldwin will be giving a tear-filled interview on Stephen Colbert discussing what's it's like to be the survivor of a movie set shooting

I wonder when Alec Baldwin will resume shooting

I'm old enough to remember that when a woman walked on to a film set she was merely expecting to be assaulted by the star, not downright murdered.

It's Trump's fault. Impersonating Trump made Alec a killer. SAD!

Alec Baldwin demonstrates perfectly that when you trust the experts when it comes to safety, the results are often the precise opposite.

Just passed Alec Baldwin at the airport
The customs official asked if he had anything to declare
He started crying

No matter how it started, once an actor kills someone and faces no consequences the film is officially classified as a cop movie

Do you think January 6th would have happened if Alec Baldwin was there to defend the Capitol Building?

i was an A list actor who had a history of abusive behavior toward strangers, friends and family which culminated in me negligently killing someone and feeling like I was the victim in the situation

roseanne barr got in more trouble for mistaking valerie jarrett's race than alec baldwin will for, at best, mistakenly killing someone

I think we can agree that Alec Baldwin is a shoo-in to take this year's Oscar for Best Murder In a Motion Picture

Alec Baldwin is as much of a victim as Jussie Smollett was, and is being treated with the exact same reverence by the corporate press

hey
@TedKennedyJR
any thoughts on Alec Baldwin getting away with killing a woman

I am calling for a total and complete shutdown of Hollywood film production until our country’s representatives can figure out what is going on.

The insane part is that Alec Baldwin clearly is a very very good shot

We wouldn't be having this conversation if Alec Baldwin had shot a Black man

Nope, I've not seen it, but I'll put it on my list of things to watch.

I think my favorite film is Repo Man. That was directed by Alex Cox. He made another film: Three Businessmen which I recommend, he also directed Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

Also, he called 9/11 "Operation Pearl Harbor" and called Dick Cheney the "secret architect of the 9-11 atrocities". I appreciate a man with those kind of stones.

So, Baldwin is a Clinton Foundation member and a Mason. Halyna Hutchins bragged on set four days prior that she was going to take down the Clintons once and for all, and did plan a Hollywood pedo expose, was researching around vicinity of Epstein's pedo ranch which was close to movie set.

More Woo that Baldwin wanted to go up a rank in the Globalist Clinton Masons, and the execution was his assignment to 'accident' her?

Who knows, the whole thing is utterly weird and improbable. Rabbit holes in rabbit holes.

Unless she was producing the movie and funding it… they can just find another cinematographer. There’s a thousand other hungry to work cinematographers who would quickly replace her. Seems like a stretch offing her would be conspiracy.

It's misdirection.

If you have true dirt on somebody, you work on your little project and them dump it out to take in the glee and fun as they run around in a panic.

Look at what Assange did and what Snowden did. What they do is show up in the middle of nowhere in the middle of no TIME, and announce: "Here's all the criminality of the Clintons". They have so much fucking dirt on her she should have long ago been buried. The "conspiracy theory" that the US was working with Al Qaeda was confirmed in those emails.

We just don't have a judicial system. We don't even have a government, it's just a mafia now.
